Unfortunately couldn't get in because of a wedding function but we should have checked the opening times online. Beautiful place on the outside. Will definitely return to view the inside. Looks impressive and at £5 per adult entry fee worth returning.
An amazing Tudor House dating as far back as 1300. Beautiful walks around the house with 70 acres to enjoy of woodlands, ponds and lots of birds and ducks. A great day out for the family and for children. The house itself is a museum open to the public. We'll worth the visit. The house has been preserved and restored beautyfully over the years.
The house: I've visited countless fine stately homes in recent years across the country - most far grander than this, but Bramhall is perhaps the most notable & memorable amongst them all. The exterior is in such fine condition for the building's age that it looks mock Tudor, but it's the interior and its contents that really make it worthwhile. A well presented mix of furnishings & family memorabilia from generations who've lived there through the centuries. The solar deserves world heritage status - world class. Highly recommended
Such a beautiful building. The history is great and staff were so helpful when we were unsure of where to start/go. Great experience. The surrounding grounds are beautiful also. Great day out!
An Easter visit. Didn’t go in the hall as we had the dog with us. The park was very busy but we enjoyed a walk around the lakes and the gardens. Stopped for teas and Danish pastries afterwards, very enjoyable.
Great house to visit. Fascinating history and great interior and good walks. Odd cafe system forced us to eat a meal outside but could have eaten inside if we had only had cake. So Odd!!!
Amazing park within Bramhall !!! Very suitable for kids with playground and food shops. What to expect: 1. Pond and ducks, birds and squirrels 2. Forrest for trekking 3. Rapids that improves the sound of the place 4. Playground
Lovely park with Tudor style, impressive manor house overlooking the entire park. Nice family and pet friendly cafe next door with good facilities and food and drink options. Parking is a pay meter which isn't very expensive and there's some road parking in that local area to then have a short walk to the park.
Lovely walks through the park, great little visitors centre/shop and cafe in the courtyard. The hall looks great and well kept.
Beautiful park and great views. The new flower patch planted below the house, has made an already beautiful park look even better! Sadly only 4 stars as the food menu in the restaurant is separate from the outdoor food caravan, which is situated just 15m away and separated by a wall of glass. Customers choosing to eat from the caravan menu cannot sit in the cafe and are only allowed the outdoor seating, and vice versa, making it frustrating for groups of customers that may wish to eat different things, all of which may not be available on the same menu.
