A little local park to enjoy a nice evening stroll about or watch a sunset in peace and relaxation. Or simply spend a few minutes sitting on the bench watching the world go by
Lots of room for picnics and children to play.well maintained grass and tree's dogs welcome bins for rubbish but could do with emptying now and then. Well worth spending time there too relax and peace and quiet Playground: Small playground for kids.skate board area.tennis court for free Picnic area: Lots of grassy areas to have picnics
Such a stunning park in the middle of Heaton Moor with an extensive history. Two bowling greens, one of which has now been given over to general use, we've lost many a year ago the 9hole putting greens and 4 sinder tennis courts, but a new all weather court replaced it and is regularly used. Lots of lovely winding paths around the remaining bowling green festuned with outstanding flowers in the spring and summer. Undulating paths but yet flat for those that need it. Overall such a lovely place to spend time and with a group of active volunteers Friends of Heaton Moor Park, it should continue to thrive. Playground: An under 7s small playground Restrooms: Regrettable no toilets, long been disused Dog-friendliness: Great place to walk your dogs Picnic area: Loads of benches and tables for picnic plus in the summer, the 'old bowling green' is available to roll out the mats
Fantastic Park for Adults, Children and Dogs alike. Small play area for young children, lots of grassed area for dogs to run around or to have a picnic on. Lots of pathways to explore the nature and a fantastic array of flowers and trees to admire. There is on road parking very close by, but at busy periods it's much easier to walk if you live close by. I have never seen much litter here, always looks well taken care of. Some lovely sculptures to see also and we have previously used the Park to hide our painted rocks for Heatons Rocks.
Nice Park to walk around with a slide for kids
Great place to visit and walk dogs.
Very pleasant walk in the sun for an hour or so.
Great park to just fo for a walk and enjoy a sunny day, although there are just a few of those throughout the year. Lots of parents children and dogs running around with open space. Very friendly people and safe environment for all. Pleasant place to enjoy a few hours on a Sunday afternoon.
Nice park in a Heaton Moor residential area. Loads of dogs and a not too flat football pitch. It has some old trees, a tennis court and plenty of space. Beautiful gardening all around
Lovely little Park situated in a leafy district of Stockport with 30 minutes for child activity.
