I cannot recommend Verity Frearson enough.  From the first visit by Matthew Stamford to value my property I knew we had chosen a very professional agent to market our property.   An agent that wasn't pushy, didn't spin anything and was upfront and fair on their fees.  The photographer they used to take the marketing images was brilliant and when the brochure was put together there was not one thing in it I had to change.  Then there was the lovely team handling the viewings who knew exactly what to say and they soon found us a buyer.  Finally I cannot praise Becky Wilson enough who worked tirelessly to get the sale over the line, communicating with us every step of the way.  If I could give them more stars I would.

Wonderful selling experience!  We can honestly say that our experience of selling with Verity Frearson was great from start to finish. Matthew was always on the end of the phone and our negotiator Paula was just brilliant…and so friendly every time we spoke to her despite being super busy. Thank you to all of the team for guiding us through from valuation to completion. We would definitely use them again and also recommend their services to others.

Only rating 1* because there isn't the option to put 0.  I don't have a single good thing to say about this company. How they still have customers is beyond me.  I don't even know where to start... We relocated to Harrogate in November 2021. We saw a house to rent online & Decided to put an application in despite not actually viewing the house, Due to needing to move quick so my husband could start his new job. Once everything went through, We got given a date to collect the keys. We set off at 4am, We relocated 200 miles With all of our possessions, our 9 month old daughter and 2 dogs to arrive at Verity's for 9am to sign the paperwork & collect the keys.  We arrived at new house and had complete disappointment. The house was FILTHY!! Considering we was in a pandemic with restrictions just easing, We could not believe the state. If we hadn't just travelled such a long way, We would of refused to move in. There was urine stains on the toilet, dirty door handles/shower screen, Coffee all down the radiators, Peeled paint/Black mould in the bedroom, 20+ dead flies all over the windowsills, dust everywhere, The fireplaces hadn't been emptied, I could go on. We took pictures and told Verity's straight away... We never had a reply & an apology!  During the time here, We had multiple builders at the property Which we had no idea what for as we was never told & The problem was also never solved. The black mould in the bedroom was so bad, We could no longer sleep in the room due to my brittle asthma, Again, Verity's knew about this as it was pointed out during the first inspection but nothing ever done.  During the months here, Our circumstances changed, My husband got a new job an hour away & Due to the rural location/ All bus routes in the area stopping, I had no way of getting out. Leaving me extremely isolated & depressed. We decided to look to move but became aware we had signed a 3 year fixed contract & Could not move without the landlords consent to terminate. After numerous phonecalls, emails we was getting no where with the company, So we decided to contact the landlord direct & Got released the same day.  Surely, As an estate agent, They have a duty of care & Having known, We hadn't viewed the house, didn't know the area & was relocating 200 miles - They should of advised against a 3 year contract!  The attitude from the staff has been absolutely horrendous, BERNADETTE, KELLY, SARAH & RICHARD should be out of a job from the way they have spoken to both myself and husband. The amount of times we've been told someone will call us back & 2 weeks later, Still waiting.  We wasn't told when new tenants had moved in, when our inspection had been complete or any problems until weeks later & We again, Had to chase for this information and our bond back.  I'd advise anyone considering renting from this company to run. Our new estate agents have been nothing but fabulous.  The staff are so rude, unprofessional & if the owners heard the way we have been spoke to, they'd all be given their p45's!  AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

We knew from the outset that Verity Frearson was the agent we wanted to act for us and they certainly didn't disappoint. The marketing was excellent, especially the photos and special online viewing tool. Communication was great right throught the process and VF sold our flat immediately for a lot more than the asking price while we were relaxing on holiday. That's certainly the way to do it! Our purchase was difficult as it took a long time to find a new property and then we had to wait ages for probate to be granted. Verity Frearson gently but firmly progressed everything in a very professional way. Our main dealings were with Danielle and James and, having dealt with lots of other agents for our purchase,  we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Streets ahead of the rest!

Amazing communication throughout - from placing the offer to supporting us with the sale. Really supportive and nothing ever seemed too much effort. We mainly communicated with Megan who was brilliant and super lovely! Promptly replied to emails and kept us updated throughout! Would totally recommend!

Verity Frearson were excellent from start to finish. We were first time buyers and really had no idea where to even start! They helped us with viewings & making an offer. Becky guided us through the whole process and was really helpful. Caroline helped us with anything we needed after our offer was accepted, right until we collected the keys. Thank you for all your help, we can’t recommend enough!

I have been very happy with the service from the first contact right through to completion. The whole team are professional, efficient and diplomatic, keeping things progressing at every stage. Particular praise for Becky who was first class. This is the second time I have used Verity Frearson and would highly recommend them.
