We had a wonderful evening at Vernerdi's for NYE. All the food was delicious and tasted very fresh, we also had a lovely glass of white wine we are usually quite picky about wine! The set menu was £49pp which included a glass of champagne, and we felt it was good value for money. All the staff were very friendly and professional. Thank you especially to Angela, our waitress. We'll be back very soon!

The right place if you want to taste the real Italian food!! Handmade pasta, good variety of choices and super friendly staff! Would definitely recommend! Hope to come back soon and try their pizza A must pick its their handmade Tiramisu, that was amazing!

Had a very nice lunch here in a Sunday around noon. Good food overall, solid value, ample portions. We had meatballs with bread, a bread basket, fried zucchini, Margherita pizza and child had penne pomodoro. Everything was tasty. Friendly staff. Was great that they have a kids menu. All but one of the tables had kids so this is certainly a place that gets that kind of clientele for lunch at least. Friendly staff. I would happily come back for another meal here.

The last time I was here I think the restaurant was under different, management but the food still tastes really good. Their waiters weren't the friendliest, but they weren't rude or dismissive either so maybe it was just a long day. The menu is vast with a lot of vegetarian options. I ordered the lobster pasta with a glass of wine and it all tasted really good; the price was very reasonable. They also sell some Italian snacks that are not readily available elsewhere in London.

lovely atmosphere, food was flavourful and the portions are adequate. i got a seafood risotto, the cocktails are also really well made compared to other places i’ve visited. staff was welcoming and we had no problems :

Been here a couple times now and the food has always been Spot on! I wanna say it's kinda pricey, cause it kinda is! ...BUT I know the ends ain't what they used to be, since white folk and money moved in, So I won't!! But Regardless, the pricey food & drinks were on point! and I'll defooo be back, and would defoo recommend it to others too!

Service is friendly and food is fine, although a little pricey. Absolute robbery being charged £4 for filtered tap water that had bits floating in it. Not what I expected when I ordered some water with my half pint. Left feeling scammed.

We stumbled upon this gem and couldn’t be happier! The food, staff and service were amazing! Manoel was a delight to have as a server. We will definitely come back!

Today was a on the spur lunch time treat - we headed off to @venerdirestaurant on Chatsworth Road - Italian . With the sun beaming it was a great choice to make . Eating out just like it’s done back in Italy Spaghetti alle vongole, Italian for "spaghetti with clams", is a dish that is very popular throughout Italy, especially in Campania . We had it with prawns , Light and refreshing , spaghetti cooked to perfection I would have preferred more garlic but it was a good choice . Our waiter Sebastian was very helpful and service good. Decor was clean and pleasing to the eye prices debatable but food was good #italian #lunchtime #chatsworthroad #hackney

Absolutely atrocious food! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! The food was very and I repeat very bland! All staff was watching us all, from bite to bite! They ALL had attitude. The manager doesn’t stop staring. The lasagna was horrible! Lots of cheese with barely any pasta! Not to mention it was a birthday reservation and the customer service was terrible so did not pay service charge!!!
