Story

FED is a brand new concept restaurant, an innovative gastronomic experience born in the heart of Dalston.

FED is the result of a genuine and conscious international food culture revolution, based on fully-developed southern Italy traditional recipes, revisited after continuous studies in nutritional factors and cross cultural contamination, natural food processing, genuine cooking and a sustainable approach to the environment.

FED is the new alkaline Mediterranean diet promoting healthy living.

FED daily produces, on site, the freshest and the highest quality delicatessen for those that, besides just eat, expect to be fed at a reasonable price, either eating on site or take away.

FED’s food processing strives to eliminate microbial activity by baking ingredients just seconds before consumption, making it delicious, healthy and highly digestible (not allowing bacteria’s procreation).

Our mission, at FED, is to satisfy the most demanding foodie and create a strong awareness about quality and healthy lifestyle culture.

sharing cheese platter as a starter was great, loved them all but the ricottina. vegan lasagne better than meaty one. black margherita pizza had great dough, but again was not convinced by the ricottina cheese. pizza with chocolate and pistachio for dessert made hubby very happy... must have been good!
Second visit and once again exceptional. Delicious vegan Italian restaurant with huge portions of pasta and pizza. Save room for their delicious desserts. Their bread and pizza bases, come in charcoal, plain or green. Be sure to order their Caprese innocente with vegan mozzarella, carbonara, mushroom tasting, tiramisu and all the pizzas : bring some friends
This is the second time I come to this restaurant and it won’t be the last. The food is absolutely delicious, everything is homemade and you can tell it’s done with dedication and love. The staff is super nice too, making sure you feel confortable and happy to recommend you what to eat. I’d recommend this restaurant to any of my friends or to anybody who’s around Dalston really and not just to vegans but to everybody, coz even if you eat meat this place is great to try new flavours. You won’t regret it. This time we ordered pumpkin soup, Diablo pizza and broccoli salad. It was sooo yummy!! Here are some pics for you to see.
Amazing place!!!. Best italian vegan food in London. Went 3 times, creative, coloful, tasteful, amazing portions, great pizza and other italian options. If you go for dinner, better call for reservation!!
My food, which was a simple aubergine starter and a gigantic mixed mushroom platter, was fantastic. I had to bag it though, because it turns out it was supposed to be for two. It's a little on the expensive side, but I happen to know those types of mushrooms are expensive to start with and the cooking is a must-try for a vegan foodie. The staff were good people, the let me hover around and digest for a while, and use my laptop and their WiFi. Service was fast and attentive. They have a lot of pride and passion in what they do. The toilet facility could use expanding, though...! By the way, this is NOT *inside* the shopping centre. Access on the outside, just left of the entrance to the centre.
Lovely place! Great, friendly, lovely, nice staff! Always taking care of their customers. The food is amazing! Great portion size! Great value! Great amount of options! You want to come here and try everything!! Still couldn't try their Tiramisex as I'm always just too full after my main. Keep it up guys. I love that place!
This place was pretty damn amazing! Food was delicious and service was delightful. Slight on the pricer side like 15-16 quid for a main and a smoothie costs 5 quid. However, the quality and taste of the food sort of justified the costs haha. I would recommend booking in advance as they get busy on lunch and dinner times. Me and my mate was lucky to get a seat. I would certainly visit again :
All good and natural ingredients. Vegan carbonara....pasta and pizza! Active charcoal in the pizza and bread dough....simply lovely! Small and nicely decorated, seems to be quite busy too. I definitely raccomand it!
One of my favs, never disappoints. The food is amazing. Absolutely love the spicy calzone. Friendly service. Cons: The seating means your sitting quiet close to other diners and the toilet is absolutely tiny. On the expensive side. Also make sure you book as it can get very busy. The restaurant is quiet small as it is.
YUM! Vegan Italian... big fan. We had the Burratina which was super super yummy who needs cow cheese anymore?! Followed by two pasta dishes. Perfectly cooked pasta and one was gluten free and it was lovely. Great flavours and textures. Cocktails were a big thumbs up too. And you don’t need to be vegan to go here... it’s very tasty and isn’t just meat substituting, this is cooking with epic flavours and wonderful ingredients. We will be back to try pudding it looked great. Oh and the staff were all absolutely delightful.
