I’d like to leave a more positive review - BUT they told me my car was “drivable” so refused to give me a hire car. Forcing me to hire my own at considerable expense to me. Their engineer finally came 17 days later - 10 days after that they finally confirmed it will be repaired AND my car is UNDRIVABLE!! They now don’t even answer the phone to even tell me when my car will be collected for repair OR provide me with a car to replace my hire car at £60 per day!!!
You are better taking the hit on your own insurance than bothering with this waste of a company. Don't bother contacting you for 2 weeks and offer you the lowest amount possible for your car. Despite me emailing and emailing and calling and calling I never get through to anybody who can help. Will do anything to avoid you. Worse than 1 star!
A third party driver damaged my car and her insurance used VRG, they took months to get the ball rolling to get my car fixed, for them to deem it a total loss. When it came to taking a payment their communication was awful, they were fast to organise my courtesy car being taken from me but when it come to getting my money to fix my car they didn’t reply to me via email for nearly 3 weeks, in which time they never answered the phone either. Also found the staff emailing me were rude.
If I could give minus 5 I would! My courtesy car was organised to arrive at 11am with a confirmation text. 11am came and passed and I waited and waited and waited! After an hour I tried to call but couldn’t get through and kept getting cut off after half an hour of listening to the same tune! Eventually at 1 I got through to a boy who wasn’t in the slightest helpful and my dog has better manners! Informed me there would be no courtesy and when I explained that I was stranded two hours from home with a boat to catch he told me it wasn’t his issue and hung up the phone!! I then received a text message at half past 1 informing me that due to a shortage in courtesy cars I would no longer be receiving it 2 and a half hours too late! £150 down travelling onto the mainland and driving to the garage which was fixing my car where I was to collect the courtesy car I had to take my own car back home and reorganise for my car to be booked in to the garage to be fixed!
Terrible company that you should avoid at all costs! Appointed by Hastings after one of their customers hit our car this company supplied an unsuitable vehicle telling us to take it or leave it then after unfortunately picking up a small stone chip to the windscreen charged us an extortionate £213 for a chip repair!!! They will attempt to extort money from you at every opportunity stay away.
Shocking, would not recommend VRG. Had a accident got a courtesy vehicle from VRG, luckily i took videos when i took delivery & return. Now they have invoiced £550 for nothing! They say tyres-shocking thats wear & tear. I didn’t borrow the car it was paid for as a service. The aftercare is absolutely shocking staff are very rude & aggressive. Would never recommend to use this company, better to walk or get a taxi! -1 stars. Shocking i read similar stories people they have done this too, i definitely will not let it go. Zee
Slow to respond and do not get back to you once they have the courtesy vehicle back despite promises and multiple chasers on my part. I am still without settlement and my vehicle is still damaged and off the road from a non-fault accident which happened in August.
AVIOD AT ALL COSTS!! Shocking customer service. I've been waiting 2 months for this shower of so say professional insurance company to deal with a no fault claim on my car. The next step will be legal advice and insurance ombudsman even completing the press and Watchdog. I'm at my wits end dealing with this company.
Horrible customer service, the lady I spoke to was extremely rude and argumentative over a miss communication from there behalf from last year and now when questioned on what the situation she was very rude and had a massive attitude. Definitely do not recommend to go with this company unless you want to be ripped off and have headaches upon headaches over there internal miscommunication and issues and in which they try to blame you. Horrible company!!!
Absolutely beyond pathetic. Poor communication of your courtesy vehicle arrival date and of extensions to the rental agreement. Forced to use them as I had to go through the third parties insurance as the accident was their fault. I am not even sure why they were necessary in the process as it was connexus insurance company and eurocar who supplied the vehicle both also absolute disasters with no communication. At the end they tried to charge me an extra days hire and call out charge because i was wrongly instructed to leave the hire vehicle with the garage who was fixing my own car. Money they took from my account without permission and was only refunded after several painful phone calls to connexus during which i had to insist they paid the bill as they are at fault as i was wrongly instructed with what to do with the hire car. Terrible customer service. Terrible communication. From what i can tell completely unnecessary as well!
