Used this garage for an insurance repair. Was assured the parts would be in stock before work commenced. A five day job took 3 weeks as they didn't have the parts in when the car was dropped of. Receptionist very unhelpful and didn't show any interest. Definitely would not use them through choice. It was a good job we had a hire car provided through our insurance or we would have been stuck without the car for so long.

Avoid like the plague. In fact get the plague before you think of setting foot in here.
Don't expect a call, customer service, or to be treated as a human being. 
Car in for six days, and after repeated calls by us and loads of excuses we were no further forward. 
Don't give them the benefit of the doubt and jog on past this listing unless you have lost all self respect.

After booking on line with blackcircles visited garage to have 4 tyres fitted. I had read the negative reviews so was a little concerned. No need to worry on the basis of my experience. Staff were friendly, job was carried out quickly and efficiently and reception phoned me at the local Wetherspoons (£1.20 for unlimited coffee!) as soon as the job had been completed. Couldn't really better what I encountered.

Napier Motors fixed my car through LV insurance.
I dropped the car off and a courtesy car was waiting for me. 
The car was fixed in a timely manner and to a great standard. They even cleaned the inside of the car.
I would not hesitate to use this garage again.

The first time I called here I asked if they collect, I was told that they do so the lady took my details and told me that they would collect the car at an appointed time & date, service it and bring it back. When on the day nobody turned up I called. They had no idea what I was talking about and explained that they do not collect or deliver customer cars. Desperate, I booked in for another date and took a day off work to get my car MOT'd. I was told that it would be done while I wait. When I showed up they said that they did not know when my car would be looked at and they never advise customers that they can do while you wait. 

Feeling forgiving, I booked in for a service a few weeks later. I explained that there were some problems and asked that they take a look. The car was done as arranged this time and surprisingly they delivered my car back to me, failing to tell me that all of the power sockets inside the car no longer worked. I was told that I needed to talk to the mechanic to find out about the problems. Three phone calls and two visits and I was not able to get hold of the mechanic.

I ended up selling the car with the problems and bought another which I booked in for a service (another day off work). I asked them to look at some problems again and left the car there. I ended up having to phone in to find out if my car was ready. I went to collect it and was told that they had not had time to look at the problems and that I would have to bring it back for that. They gave me the car back with the bonnet not only open, but unable to latch itself closed. They did sort of fix this, but I'm still a little disturbed that they gave it back to me like that. When I got it home I discovered that the side light that wasn't working is still not working. As this is on all service criteria I know that this part of the service wasn't done, but it makes me wonder what else was not done.

So this time around I have used up my last day of holiday to pay £145 to have my car taken from me for a day, possibly some of a service done and given back to me with the bonnet in worse condition than when I gave it to them, the back seat not fitted, the fuel inlet pipe loose and an illegally non-functional sidelight. What gets me the most is that they have a number of awards for customer service, yet they can't complete a car service. Coupled to that, I rarely use the car but next time I do I will need to carry two passengers. As the back seat is loose and I can't get much fuel in it I will have to hire a car for the day because I'm not going to be able to get to a garage again until I get some more holiday entitlement. But at least Napier had time to serve all of their other paying customers that day.

Additional: Having recently had it in a real garage I can confirm that there is no evidence of a service having been done and a lot of evidence that a service was not done.
