Hidden treasure. Right at the underground station at street level is this food hall with various restaurants. Went with a group and we all were able to get something different and sit together. Seating can be tough with a large group - we had about 35 and split into a few tables in two spots. Was walking distance from Park plaza riverbank hotel!
Came for the reggae and brunch event, unlucky for us it happened to rain most of the event, so lots of people were hiding under the sheltered sections. Once the sun came back out it wasn't overly crowded which was nice. A few different bars and food bits were available, prices weren't horrendous considering we were a captive audience, and the food I had was actually fairly reasonable for the portion size you got. Toilets started off clean, but as these sorts of events go, they don't stay that way. Overall I had a good time, and this was better than I expected it to be
MOLD! Cups aren’t cleaned properly and the 2-1 drink was so watered down I could taste the ice in the glass. Staff looked as if they haven’t had a good night since 1969 and half of them didn’t even say hello. Bathroom was nice but no music at all, no atmosphere and no people on a Friday night. Won’t be returning for sure Food: 2/5
Went on international dog day, great fluffs everywhere, staff were amazing and lots of good food choices but only lacking in the dessert front!Food: 4/5
The vibes are immaculate, the food we got was great, although the service could use some improvement. Overall, this is a cool place to grab a drink and a bite with a group of friends - there are large tables and smaller tables both. The food can get a bit pricey but tastes pretty good, and the area is very well connected.
Attended Braii & Beer South African event it was really lovely, the venue was spacious. Loved the rooftop!Food: 3/5
Visited for Sabor salsa Festival. There are tombola games and two pool tables.Food: 5/5
The food court offers a great variety of restaurants and dishes to choose from, catering to a range of tastes. The addition of live music adds to the vibrant atmosphere, making it a lively spot to hang out. However, it's a bit disappointing that they close fairly early, which cuts the evening short just as you're getting into the groove.Food: 4/5
Cool hole in the wall with a lot of options for food and a drink. It's underneath the metro and has many restaurants and a bar to choose from. Open seating for everyone to eat at. If you are in the area or passing through, try it out! Vegetarian options: There are plenty of options to choose from. Wheelchair accessibility: It's all one level. No steps or stairs.
Good variety of food & drinks. I like the wicked fish & chips.Food: 5/5
