Interesting menu using local ingredients in creative ways. I was surprised to not see any vegetarian main course option on the dinner menu. They were happy to make something else, a delicious risotto, and charge a very reasonable price for it. All the food and my cocktail were excellent. The atmosphere was great too. The tables were close together, but not too close. To me, it doesn't feel crowded, rather it is cozy. The service was the one thing that could be improved. It started out great with seating, ordering, and time for our drinks and food to arrive. After that it went downhill a bit. They asked how the food was very soon after bringing it to the table when we'd barely had a chance to try anything. I finished my first drink about halfway through my meal and no one ever asked if I'd like another. It also took a long while to pay. Overall, the service could use some work, but the food is top notch.
Our group went to Vanilla for lunch and the food and service was fantastic. It's always nice when the staff are knowledgeable about the food. Really enjoyed the experience.
The spring rolls were best ive ever had in my life. Whole meal AMAZING
We made a last-minute reservation on a busy a Saturday, and they generously made room for us. The service was great, and the every dish we ordered was amazing. You can tell that the chefs are very passionate about they food they create. We had a lovely dining experience!
We have eaten in Vanilla many times and the food has always been fantastic. We ate in the Tapas restaurant last night and again enjoyed fabulous food and service. The atmosphere is relaxed and watching the chefs prepare the dishes was an absolute joy !! Thank you....we will definitely be back !!
Wow. What a meal. So thoughtful and flavorful. The chest prepared the food at open kitchen right in front of us at upstairs tapas lounge. They were meticulous. I had cauliflower, olives, burgers and loved every bite. Very nice Prosecco to go with. And I can’t get the chocolate dessert with cherries out of my head.
Love this place. Food fresh and always so good. Staff friendly. Have never had a bad experience. One of my favourite places to eat
It was lunch with 3 friends and it was really delicious. We had a mixture of starters and mains finished off with a very good latter. The atmosphere although very busy was relaxed and not rushed. Always worth every penny
Several good dishes. Colleague ordered pigeon. I wasn't adventure that night; only had salmon with risotto. Service was good. Learned at this meal that you need to ask for the check. Waiters will not normally bring it to you in Ireland.
Amazing the food is just sooo good and is complimented by the excellent service. Can't wait to come back again
