I remember Kings Lynn from years ago when I was young and I can safely say it's come along way since then. However, having a good look around the town centre this weekend does disappoint me! It's noticeable that small retailers have been forced out and what remains are, coffee shops, card shops, phone shops. Without these the town would be empty! Apart from the poor selection of shops is the ever present homeless soles in the closed down shop doorways! Come on Kings Lynn you can do better than this. You don't have any competition nearby so pull out your finger and invest in the heart of the town and make it a nice place to shop once again.

There's plenty of variety here, whether just to browse or stop off for a fresh coffee sometime or even a full on shopping spree. The nice thing is you don't need to rush around as the shops are very close to each other and there's 4 pubs, at least 3 coffee shops and plenty of places to eat all in very close proximity to one another. There's a lovely big primark, Marks+Spencer and debenhams. Also a brand new H&M is being built, due to open in a few months. It's looking good so far. There's also lots of history here and the bus and train stations are just a short walk away.

Lots of shops and places to eat. I prefer to shop here then Norwich. Can't get what you need and don't have to walk miles.
