Without doubt the finest , loveliest, historic home wares shop with a vast selection of furniture , carpet, electrical goods , cookware , bed linen and curtains, and much much more ! What you can’t find for your home here you don’t need!! What’s more the staff are friendly helpful and very knowledgeable. Now as a bonus add a first class cafe with home cooked to order fresh food and jobs a good un !! Very personal service from a local independent store …. What more do you need !
This store is Tardis-like. From the street frontage it looks quite small but once you entre you soon realise it expands rearward a colossal way both in depth, and in its numerous floors. Absolutely everything you'll ever need in high quality but reasonably priced home furnishings. Their café is pretty fabulous too. It has a separate area for dog owners to bring their pooches into, and it serves the very best full English breakfast in Norfolk!
A slightly delayed review. I have always loved coming to Reeds for a lunch in the cafe with my mum, that is dog friendly. The staff have always been so nice towards our dogs as well and we have enjoyed a few lunches there. However, unfortunately we visited in July on the 21st and we sat in the dog friendly area of the cafe. At the time there was some filming or what appeared to be an interview of some description being completed. Three individuals, one of which looked like mangement, another the interviewer I presume and the cameraman were near the exit to the sofa displays. Initially we were looked at coldly and after we proceeded to sit down, talking at a normal level. We had our dogs with us as usual. There were no signs asking for us to be quiet due to filming so we preesumed our prescence would not be a problem. After sometime of having a conversation with my mother at a normal level we were told to be quieter. We then decided to leave the cafe as we felt unwelcome. I'm unsure as to why they did not close the area to conduct the interview/ media display if the noise of the cafe area was going to disturb the proceedings as they had decided to conduct this during there busiest time at lunch. For me I like to undertake lunch where I can relax and enjoy good conversation with my family. It felt as if we had to be extremely quiet. Ultimately the only good thing about the day was the waitress who was as usual kind to us and our dogs. As a result of this me and my mother will not be visiting reeds again, which is a shame because the shop floor staff and caterers in the resturant are excellent and very attentive, but the experience really left a negative view of the store which is contrary to our strong belief in supporting local businesses.
Very nice old fashioned shop. Staff very friendly and went out of their way to find me a bedspread from their storeroom. Thank you
Well stocked with great quality items for the home at very reasonable prices
Amazing dog friendly cafe with staff who make sure your hound is watered with added treats for the table. Food and drink selection good, including lovely all day breakfast.
I love shopping local for gifts for people. Reeds always has something for everyone, you just have to look to find it. Such a lovely shop and amazingly helpful and friendly staff.
Lovely store, but found some of the items pricey. We were looking for a Thermos flask, but decided to look else where. We managed to find the same flask in another shop in town at least £20 cheaper. Most of the staff were very polite, but I did find a female member of staff very miserable and even gave me a dirty look.
What an amazing shop staff are very welcoming, small restaurant love, they even welcome dogs and have doggy treats for the pooches
Excellent well-known local department store, selling quality electricals, furnishings, kitchenware, Hoovers, bedding, curtains, bathroom commodities and a wide range of ideal gifts, handbags, luggage and collectable figurines. Great cafe too and nice staff.
