The V&A could get a better art curator. I saw the covid 19 exhibition it was okay. However, the architecture does add value to the valley. V historic city.
Visited the Mary Quant exhibit which was fab and well worth a visit. Beautiful, spacious modern building, excellent knowledgeable and friendly staff. Some lovely items in the shop too so take your spending pennies!
It was absolutely amazing, a nice cafe and amazing arts!
Visited in December 2020. Very impressed with the Mary Quant exhibition. Also impressed with the measures taken in terms of limiting visitor numbers etc. Was apprehensive before going but very pleased with how it all worked in practice.
Sadly I was disappointed as I felt there was not enough on show. I enjoyed the shop but not sure my 56 minute visit was worth the 1 hour 35 minutes travelling there time. On the up side though you felt safe with the Corona virus restrictions with plenty of hand gel, staff etc available.
