An absolutely great hall for concerts and shows. It is a really nice place and has a lovely atmosphere. There are three tiers / floors with a bar. The box office is just to the right of the entrance. They run many shows throughout the year and you check the schedule online. Overall, I'd recommend this venue for you visit, even if you are around for a short visit, a quick last minute ticket might be a great experience.
Really nice venue! The staff are friendly and very organized. Water given mid concert to people from the front back. The toilets are clean and well maintained. The coat check is £2 and takes cash only! Great space for gigs and shows. Sugababes we’re fab.
Really don’t have many complaints here. The only one would be the steepness and closeness of upper balcony seating. It is to be expected, but it was quite tight and a little unnerving. Sound quality was good. Amenities were nice. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Bar area was fine, but didn’t find any beer on draft upstairs. Merch table was kind of hidden. Careful of some of the stairways, as they can lead to a dead end outside and not just to the next level down.
Great place and great night. It's a good storyline about Jesus's birth with the orchestra playing alongside, totally awesome turnout and singing along with the orchestra, never applauded with so much enthusiasm and joy and this was all free of charge too!! Donations were welcomed by the usher hall but not expected, Great turnout for the type of night that the weather was, and I would recommend for anyone 10/10 excellent places for a venue for all the family and ages, looking forward to getting back. Big thanks to all those guys who made it happen
It was my first orchestra experience. But many parents couldn’t control their kids. It was very disruptive to the show. All in all it was amazing being able to watch toy story with beautifully produced orchestral music.
Great to be in the Hall again after two years. A great gig with the RSNO paying tribute to one of the greatest film composers in history, John Williams. My music equivalent of Stanley Kubrick. Friendly staff as always. Good prices. Great night. Can't wait to come back. The show isn't even over yet
Enjoyed the evening. Friendly, helpful staff organising, guiding the crowd. Bar facilities very good, efficient. Lovely big venue to enjoy sounds and show. Central, bus stops outside. The band, Fleet Foxes, put on a great show to a happy crowd. Wouldn't have happened if organisation and crowd were not looked after very well. All good
Wow long time no go! Its been an age since I went here but glad we did, its just so good. Wonderfully inside and the Fleet Foxes were brilliant, such a lovely venue!
It is a traditional concert hall. I was seated in a separate audience area behind the platform, which was a new but great experience. I was informed by inconsistent guidance from different staffs regarding the traffic flow and direction, which, perhaps, implied to a further training needed.
A great venue for gigs, the acoustics are brilliant. Top balcony is very steep, give it a miss if you don't like heights. My pictures were from grand Circle, row C seat 65ish!. Great view, feel close to the stage. Plenty of bars, staff really friendly, can't wait to be back.
