Uppingham Surgery is a dynamic, forward-looking, GP Training GMS practice which aims to provide the highest quality care within the resources available.The main branch is set in Uppingham, there are three branch surgeries at Barrowden, Gretton and Ketton.

Story

Our surgery is located at the edge of the historic market town of Uppingham. We are fortunate to be surrounded by stunning countryside and numerous picturesque villages.

We provide the full complement of primary care and enhanced services and have the added benefit of our own on site dispensary.

Yesterday I had an appointment and my husband had a request at the surgery both were completed very efficiently and professionally by Dr Guram. The reception staff and pharmacy were very helpful too. An uplifting experience, thank you so much.
Made an appointment for a blood and urine test for a check for men of my age . The appointment was at 9.00am - I was in and out by 9.08am . Clinician was brilliant, prescription desk 1st class and efficient. Couldn’t have had better service, results available today! wow! Well done Uppingham Surgery - great job .
I visited Uppingham surgery recently and would absolutely give the medical staff 5 stars. However the way I was spoken to by the receptionist when I just called resulted in a 2 stars deduction. On my visit, the doctor AK had said I should have a follow up around February and the attending pharmacist training to be a GP should inform receptionist. I called today as it had been a couple of weeks and I had heard nothing, so I thought it had been lost in the system. I was told, abruptly in my view it was not lost in the system & I was on a waiting list! I was told I would hear in the new year! I was just shocked, as there is nothing anywhere in information I have access to about a waiting list. Would it not have saved a lot of time to indicate that on my NHS file?
Today I visited Uppingham surgery early for my 9.15am appointment and signed in then watched someone go in at 9.08am and leave so went to reception at just after 9.30am when I hadn’t been called and was told there had been an emergency and someone else required to be seen. I appreciate that these kind of situations can arise but it would have been a far better patient experience for me if one of the staff had come to me and politely told me that this was going to be case rather than allow me to get anxious about missing my appointment and me having to find out the situation from the receptionist for myself.
The staff is not helpful. they are very rude.they have no solution if any thing is not found.they refused and said contact with royal.i will change app is not working I asked but they said we don't know.
