This is an excellent service. I was assessed and then seen by a doctor within 40mins. This far exceeded my expectations as you just simply walk in and wait. I was suffering from an unexpected but painful ear problem and had been unable to get treatment from my own GP. The staff here are pleasant, polite and efficient. The facility itself is clean and tidy with plenty of parking. I was able to obtain the antibiotic treatment which was prescribed by the doctor from the on-site pharmacy too.
My husband and I were staying with relatives in the area, and my husband needed help and advice beyond the excellent advice given by a pharmacist in Market Harborough. The efficient and pleasant manner of all staff at the Urgent Care Centre was everything we could have hoped for - from reception to triage to consultation. We were impressed, and we are grateful.
Turned up with my son last night after he sliced his toe open. We were seen promptly, had an x-ray and stitched back up with a prescription for antibiotics in no time. Great job by all especially the guy who treated him with well informed care and attention! Thank you :
Thank you to all staff from reception through to clinical staff. You looked after my elderly neighbour so well today and reassured him throughout. We were expecting a long wait as it was very busy but were in and out within 2 hours. Keep up the good work.
Took my mum this evening. We were seen quickly and efficiently. My mum was looked after brilliantly and given some good advice as well as medication. Very friendly staff throughout the process.
Had to take my 3 year old son to see a doctor yesterday. Saw that there was a 2 hour wait to be seen, which was fine. It got to 2pm - 2 & 1/2 hours after I checked with reception to see how much longer, she said I’m one of the next…carried on waiting until it got to 3 hours, and I had to leave to pick up my other 2 children from school!! He was getting naughty because he was bored too. Everyone was lovely who I saw, I came away very upset that my son hadn’t been seen. I did get a call in my car as I left to say that I could be seen there and then, but it wasn’t good enough, as I had a half hour drive to get back to my other two. I guess the nurses strike didn’t help either.
My husband needed assistance after nearly 24 hours of worsening stomach pain. He has a number of health conditions which can make diagnosing things more tricky. He was assessed quickly, the problem identified, antibiotics and advice given and home within a couple of hours. He said the staff were all lovely, polite and jovial and he was very appreciative of the efficient service. Given the state of hospitals and GP services, CUCC is a breath of fresh air and we are very grateful to this service.

A bank holiday and once again the nhs have let my elderly mother down. Found this Corby Urgent Care Centre. Absolutely fist class service from the friendly helpful receptionist she would never get a receptionist job at a gp surgery to the triage and then the doctor. Elderly mother sorted out in less than an hour. Many thanks CUCC. If only the nhs could be like this.
Quarter past 5 on new years day evening, went straight into consultation room, chest xray, and everything. Cant speak more highly of the experience, and treatment recieved. Highly recommended! Many thanks!
