Story

The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in Preston was founded in 1828 as the Institution for the Diffusion of Knowledge. ‘Ex solo ad solem’, or in translation, ‘From the Earth to the Sun’, has been its motto ever since – helping people from all walks of life to make the most of their potential is what UCLan’s all about. From state-of-the-art facilities and world class teaching and support to help undergraduate students succeed, to providing world-leading Astrophysics researchers with the opportunity to work with NASA and photograph the Sun, UCLan has it all.

Don’t waste your time applying for Medicine at this university.nIt’s a cash grab, plain and simple. They make you pay a full year’s tuition to study basic maths and irrelevant content that has nothing to do with medicine. It’s just a way to fill seats and make money.nnOut of around 40 students, only 2 are selected after the MMI. The rest? You're left with nothing. No backup options, no support — just a wasted year and a huge bill. They don’t care what happens to you after that.nnIf you're serious about studying medicine, look elsewhere. This place will drain your time, money, and motivation
My daughter has been admitted to UCLan this year. She was so excited and happy until we got there on the first day and got the keys to her room in the campus. When we went to see the living room we found out that someone had been living there and the room was in totally unacceptable condition.nThings got even worse when my daughter went to take a shower and realised that there was no hot water. After that she tried to bake a pizza and WOW: The oven is NOT working.nCentral heating is not working either.nSo all her excitement disappeared in 2 hours.nOne of students from this facility emailed the staff to tell them about all their problems but still no response.nI’m very happy that she is taking shower with COLD water and cannot prepare food herself and stays in the cold room nAnd I pay over £5000 for this.
Seriously guys. British medical schools are just after your money. Make hay when the sun shines is a maximum they are wedded to. Schools bolton uclan and the other newbies where quality is non existent charge pounds 55k per year just in fees??? Why?
During my journey through the BA Hons top-up year at level 6 in Professional Floristry and Floral Design, I have experienced a remarkable enhancement in both my floristry skills and academic excellence. The floristry tutors are all immensely talented and experienced, with years of experience in the industry. Given my experience, I highly recommend pursuing the BA Hons in Professional Floristry and Floral Design degree.
The university boasts modern infrastructure, including the Engineering Innovation Centre EIC, state-of-the-art libraries, and dedicated labs for various disciplines.
