I would say fees is expensive but till now i have had good experience. If you are really into studying, i think u can do it as they have open resources like you got library, events, trips and u could have a-lot of fun. You also have access to gym which is cheap think so 13£ and you also got music center. There are a-lot of events in which you can get recognised to employers and teaching staff is friendly too. If you have any question im student enrolled in Bsc Computer Science and in my final year so feel free to ask.
Worst university in the entire UK. Course curriculum is outdated, professors are not supportive. Also this university is going through debts and major dept cutdowns, that's why they're not gonna spend anything on research and development. Plz AVOID going here, else you're gonna ruin your career, DON'T GET FOOLED
The worst ever university to have existed. I would have given 0 stars if i could. They gave me my offer letter months before the university classes started, in which it was clearly stated that the fee is 9k for me but suddenly afew days before the course is supposed to start, they remembered that my fee is actually 14k not 9k after i accepted the offer letter. Such stupid staff with no knowledge on how to speak and guide students. Never admitting their mistake, as if its my fault that they couldn’t read properly and sent me the letter with less fee. I think its another one of their tactics to lure students in by showing them the wrong amount in the start, and later show them actual amount when all the other universities have closed their applications and you have no other choice other than to join this joke of a university. All of reviews are absolutely true. They only know how to steal from students. Only £ matters here. Thanks bradford for wasting another of my year.
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!nnMy experience studying Law at the University of Bradford was profoundly negative and, in my view, damaging both academically and personally. From the outset, it became clear that the institution operates less as a place of learning and more as a profit‑driven business, where student welfare and educational quality are secondary to maximising revenue. I have direct evidence of being charged additional fees I should never have been asked to pay, with requests made in vague, underhanded ways that made it difficult to challenge them. When I attempted to dispute these charges, the process was obstructive, lacking transparency, and offered no genuine support — a pattern that, in my opinion, is designed to make it as hard as possible for students to recover money they are wrongly charged. This behaviour is especially troubling coming from a university, where integrity should be a core value.nThe teaching quality was consistently poor. Skilled and committed lecturers rarely stayed, leaving students with underqualified, disengaged, or poorly prepared staff. Some lecturers were extremely difficult to understand due to language barriers, yet no action was taken to address this. Lessons were often uninspiring, with minimal participation from either students or staff, and it was rare to have an engaging or enjoyable class. The course structure was chaotic, with no logical progression between modules, essential topics for legal practice rushed or skipped entirely, and weeks passing without clear direction. Assessment and marking were inconsistent, slow, and lacked transparency, with feedback so generic it was of little practical use. In my own case, administrative failings even caused me to miss an assignment submission because I was denied access to the system; despite having evidence that I was not at fault, I was penalised and forced to pay to retake the module.nSupport for students was virtually non‑existent. Academic guidance was minimal, mental health services were inadequate, and urgent matters were handled slowly, often with serious consequences. The university’s approach to pastoral care was superficial at best, leaving students to navigate stress, workload, and personal challenges alone. Facilities were outdated and insufficient, with unreliable online platforms, broken or limited study spaces, and poor access to legal research tools. Opportunities for career development were almost entirely absent — there were no meaningful links to law firms, no local placements, no mooting competitions, and no networking events, unlike other universities in the region. The campus itself felt neglected, with little to do for students and far better value for money available elsewhere.nThe surrounding area also raised serious concerns. There was visible criminal activity in the vicinity, which the university appeared to ignore, and safety for female students was a particular issue, with multiple instances of inappropriate behaviour from both students and lecturers going unaddressed. Administrative staff were often rude, unhelpful, and prone to errors, while senior leadership, including the Vice‑Chancellor, showed little interest in student experience — even failing to attend graduation ceremonies. The culture among staff seemed to be one of protecting each other and covering up failings rather than addressing them, creating an unprofessional and untrustworthy environment.nOverall, the University of Bradford’s Law course offered extremely poor value for the high tuition fees charged. The combination of low‑quality teaching, lack of support, outdated facilities, unsafe environment, and exploitative financial practices left me — and many others — feeling scammed out of both money and the education we were promised. These were not isolated incidents but part of a wider, systemic pattern that undermines trust in the institution. Based on my experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this course or this university to anyone.
Don’t believe the reviews everyone is writing because as a previous student, we are pressured to write these reviews so we can guarantee our graduation. I have been a student since 2019 enrolled in the mPharm course, I was self funded and had to pay international student fees which accumulated for £90k over the years of my studies. I failed my calculations exam on the fourth and last year due to a family member death and explained to the faculty how it affected me, my grandfather was diagnosed with cancer before my exam in January and later on passed away in the summer, I provided the university of Bradford with his scans signed by the hospital in Egypt and did everything I could just so they can give another chance to retake the exam as it was the only exam standing between me and my qualification, and as expected from a university that doesn’t care about its students they refused to give me another chance to retake the exam and forced me to graduate with bachelors after spending 4 years of my life on this course and paying £90k and also passing all my exams and only failing one exam, this is the worst university in the world they do not care about the students they only care about making money.nI advise anyone who is thinking about applying here to not do this because if you need support in the future, you will not receive it at the university of Bradford.nBigger mistake I have made was going to this university.
