I had the pleasure of visiting the University of Leeds when my son completed his Master's degree there, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. The campus is vibrant and beautifully maintained, creating an inspiring environment for students.nnThe University of Leeds stands out for its world-class education and esteemed faculty, who are not only knowledgeable but also deeply invested in the success of their students. The academic programs are comprehensive and designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their careers.
The University of Leeds has become truly special to me, and I have grown to love it deeply. I completed a 40-week internship in “Leadership in Higher Education” at the Business School, and I would like to share my experience and impressions. Of course, there is so much I could say, but I’ll focus on the key highlights.nnAt the Business School, I worked under the guidance of the academic director of the program, Dr. Sourendra Banerjee, and program director Ton Vathutala. I truly admire them—they are highly qualified professionals. Thanks to their approach, I gained a wealth of new and valuable knowledge that will be essential in my professional journey.nnTo improve my English, I attended classes at the Language Zone, taught by wonderful instructors like Coraline Schneider and Sabina Gradeck. I particularly enjoyed their weekly sessions, “Presenting with confidence” with Slides. These classes not only helped me overcome language barriers but also developed my quick thinking, creativity, and self-confidence. This unique approach is something you rarely find elsewhere.nnI must also highlight the university library—it is incredibly rich in resources and very well-organized. Once you step inside, you don’t want to leave!nnTo stay active, I regularly visited the Edge Sports Centre. It’s a clean, comfortable space where you can choose from a variety of activities to suit your interests.nnI also want to emphasize the excellent organization of the student residences. They are clean, comfortable, and the staff are always helpful and supportive. I stayed at Lupton Residences and had a great experience there.nnAnother major advantage of the university is the efficiency of its email system for resolving any issues quickly and conveniently. The staff are incredibly friendly and responsive—you can’t help but wonder how they found such amazing people! :nnThe University of Leeds is one of the best, and I’m proud to have been a part of it!
Easy to locate. The halls are not state of the art. However, it's a good school with lots of interesting research going on.
