The host staff and security team were amazing and seated us in a better area when it was clear our group wouldn't fit in the original area they reserved for us! However, the DJ was rude and araogant and refused to play the only song we requested. Not good.

A complete and utter urine smelling dump, the music and service is dire, it looks a dump as well, the corroded chrome entrance bars do not fool me - they (the club) have no interest in the local area either and the control of customers is awful - empty bottles, noise, fighting, anti social behaviour - you name it. They make an effort on - say a freshers week when they know full well the council are driving around in there van - big up! - pathetic.. Otherwise it is a poor show. The manager, a lady, no offence, but seems to think this is SOHO or something.., it is not. It never will be and more attention needs to be spent on the business. And that is where things are going wrong - a club run by people thinking they are something they are not. If they took there heads out of there backsides and look at what the locals want then it could be a good, consistent place to have a night out in. I will be most hopeful that when the new development is finished - Princesshay, by then Unit 1 will either be hopefully long gone or long since replaced. Bad execution and management - simple as that. The so called Kray wannabe bouncers are just the same. The Muppet Show. If i could give a minus star, i would - absolutely and i would advise anyone with a braincell to avoid and go to perhaps a more tried and tested Exeter nightspot - Exeter is expanding - rapidly, and it will be just a matter of time.
