My boyfriend bought me a ring from Strictly Gold N Silver for Christmas, it was beautiful. However when I opened it on Christmas day it had an un-level chip/dip in the silver band. When my boyfriend bought the ring obviously he didn't realise it had a chip in it until Christmas day when I opened it, also when he bought the ring the owner/manager of the shop said if he had any problems to bring it back. I decided the chip in the ring did not bother me that much and from Christmas day wore it until now. Since I have been wearing it two of the diamonds have fallen out then I started to get frustrated as the ring no longer looked beautiful anymore. Today (February 11th 2016) my boyfriend and I took the ring back to the shop to either get our money back or to get it fixed. The owner/manager then stated that apparently there is a time limit you have until you can bring it back to get a refund (28 Days) which he did not explain to my boyfriend when he bought it, in fact he gave the impression that he would always be happy to help no matter when he came back to the shop. Then without actually listening to our problems he didn't believe that my boyfriend bought the ring already damaged (with the chip/un-level dip) he accused us of lying that we didn't buy it in that condition. In addition he accused us of going to another shop and getting it resized and said the other shop did not mould the ring back to shape properly and that was the reason for the chip. He did not believe that the ring was already damaged when we bought it. Therefore he refused to do anything about it and had no respect for us as customers and no enthusiasm to help. This was the worst experience I have EVER had as a customer and thought this shop had the worst level of customer service known to the retail industry. Absolutely disgusting. Do not buy from this shop because if you have any problems they are NOT happy to help their customers, only happy to disappoint.
