AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!

I am a big fan of local businesses, so I thought I'd try my local children friendly hairdressers; oh how I wish I hadn't.
My little girl was born with a full head of hair and I had trimmed it a few times myself, she has just turned one and is VERY active. So I thought it would be safer to go to a professional this time. Her hair simply needed neatening up at the back.
I told the hairdresser (Zoe) who looked very young and inexperienced that I wanted her to shape the back and leave the front. (My little girl had a naturally long fringe that dropped to the side, which looked very feminine and stylish, and enabled me to give her an "up-do").
So on goes the apron and my little girl barely moves while Zoe is working on her; 10 minutes later so claims she is done.
I look at my little girl, and looking back at me is a little boy!
She now has a VERY uneven haircut from the back (which I have had to straighten out myself) and a horrid wonky fringe that is shorter then Maria Von Trap's.
I am heartbroken that my little girl no longer looks like a girl, and that it has completely changed the shape of her face.
The worse part is that I clearly said - leave the front alone; PLUS I then paid a heafty sum of money for the privilege.
I will never go back to Unique, and I will tell everyone I know - young and old, to avoid it at all costs.

Adele, the owner of Unique as it is now and the little barber shop as was, has been styling and colouring my hair for more years than I remember. A truly highly skilled and imaginative hair artist she always surprises and delights me with each new creation. Her staff are all very professional, skilled and truly friendly people who's aim is to provide a delightful and relaxed experience where you feel more part of a friendly family than a client. I can, hand on heart, thoroughly recommend everyone from children to old people to go there. Long may Unique stay and prosper.
