Great spot to drop in without booking. Dropped in today and had a simple delicious meal.  Cheese burger, no bread no potatoes extra side of seasonal veggies. My friends had half a roast chicken and mash. Lovely creamy tasty! Bacon chicken spaghetti was very flavourful and tasted great. Kale, spinach, peach & ginger fresh juice was delicious on a sore throat coming down with a cold. Reasonable value, pleasant surroundings and staff.  Interesting rustic decor.  I'd recommend trying it.

I had the bacon cheeseburger and it was delicious. If I had to make a criticism then I would say the patty was quite dry. The flat white was delicious, one of the best I've had. Service was excellent and quick. Facilities were immaculate. A great place to bring family as well at lunch and a few drinks in the evening. They mix their avocado with lime juice and it was quite strong, be warned.

This is a nice place. The staff are lovely and the food was good. 4 clean plates and happy faces. Would recommend and will definitely be back to try the dinner menu.

Smart and contemporary. We went here for breakfast. Service very polite and efficient. Homemade scone was fresh and light, and very tasty. Breakfast bap was good quality but relish might not be to everyone's taste. Overall, very pleasant atmosphere. Will be returning for a family dinner. We returned for family dinner and had a great night. Very good size portions. Flavour very enjoyable.

Nice place, great location. Inside the decoration and staff are good. I went Saturday in the afternoon about 4:40 PM and the kitchen is closed until 5 PM why you close you kitchen when the business is open ? No justification for this weird rule but is not the end of the world Food have good taste, pastas, burgers and pizzas look fresh. Is a good restaurant in this area  you don't have a lot of options near this location. Place, restrooms and kitchen are clean and very well designed. Enjoy and this restaurant is NOT a cheap restaurant.

Had two exquisite coffees and a Danish. Well done barista...and served in a lovely cup..... Not one of the American style thick buckets.

Visited yesterday for lunch, greeted by a slightly gruff man in dark blue shirt.  Experienced two servers who were delightful, very cheerful/friendly.  I ordered Garlic Bread for starter, an enormous serving of what looked more like a sliced up Pizza arrived, I couldn't get through it, I was given the remainder to take home, doubt if I'll eat it.  It was not Garlic Bread as I know it, way too big a portion for a Starter, somewhat tasteless. Main course, Chicken Burger was very nice but again, big portion.  A really nice set up, my third time there.  I'll order less courses next time

Was a pleasant evening at Union Cafe. Lovely atmosphere and the decor is tasteful. Unfortunately my mom & I made wrong choices I had pasta & prawns bland & over priced at 21.95 she had hake which was over cooked & lonely on the plate as not served with any veg/chips etc these are extra. My husband and daughter were pleased having ordered the burger and wings respectively. Very good attentive staff who were lovely to my toddler who looked for strawberries twice instead of the sausages we ordered for him. I will be back maybe try Brunch next time.

This is a great Union Cafe! I needed a quiet spot for a couple hours work on my laptop yesterday afternoon. Was given a great, quiet spot at the back where the manager ensured I had a plug socket for my laptop. Staff were attentive but left me be to work away without any hassle. I also really enjoyed the music mix, it was a really pleasant experience!
