The Chancellors Hall is a lovely place to have a conference.
I had a very bad experience with this university. I paid 50 GBP for an aptitude test to meet the mathematics requirement for applying to one of their online degree programs. However, I didn’t receive any service. No one contacted me to advise on how to take the test or provide any information. I reached out to the help desk multiple times but never received a reply. It’s ironic that I was scammed by an institution advertised on Coursera.
Course material for external students is rather insufficient. For some courses, there's also no one moderating or answering important queries. You are practically left alone to figure everything out by yourself. Despite the lack of support, study fees seem to keep increasing every year. Edit 2 months after initial review: The enquiry system seems to have improved lately. I used to wait weeks on one occasion, months for a response but my last few communications with the University have been prompt. Therefore, to be fair to the University I am improving this review's score for now.
The course material for the class was good but the administration and student support is not there. The course is mostly reading with very little participation by the professor. While I learned, I didn’t learn more than I could get from a book and their disorganization added additional stress during exams. The administration and student support ruins the great opportunity this school has to offer. Read the other reviews. I went to Harvard as well and they are vastly better to work with online
I got admission but there is an issue in my account as I’m not able to pay my tuition fees. I logged my enquiry on 1st of March 2024, no one responded or resolved the problem even after 10 days. I tried to call their only number, which keeps me waiting for 20 minutes and gets disconnected automatically after that. I tried to call quite a few times and every time, the same thing happened. I find this service very frustrating, unprofessional and beyond standard. Being a reputed university, students do not expect this type of poor service as students study with their own money. So, I would like to bring attention to the authority to resolve the matter as soon as possible please.
Beautiful library with a vast selection of historic and modern texts. There are also some small exhibits of historical artefacts and the architecture itself is breathtaking.
There's no accountability. The persons they put charge of communicating on behalf of University of London are extremely immature and rude. They will deliberately close and ignore students' requests and blatantly say that the students closed their own requests. How can students get any help from University of London if the university's staff are closing students' cases without resolving them?

I registered for a master degree in organizational psychology for an online course. I was really disappointed by the way the university is communicating with students. I waited for a results of my last module for 8 months without being able to contact someone directly at the university to get information on what was happening, it is all through platform where you wait for weeks to get an answer. I could not register for my next module without receiving my results of the previous module. It delayed all my master program. It is really not worth the money. I do not recommend that university.
