Title: Disappointing Experience Despite Good Food My recent visit to Yo Sushi on Bond Street was a mixed bag. On the positive side, the food was delicious, and the conveyor belt was a fun and unique attraction. However, the overall experience was marred by several significant issues. First and foremost, the ladies' restroom was absolutely disgusting. The stench was unbearable, and there were hairs stuck to the walls. It was truly off-putting. Additionally, there was a trash bin placed right in the middle of the restaurant, which was both unsightly and unhygienic. Despite having a reservation and there being plenty of available seats, we were offered the worst table in the restaurant. The menus were sticky and quite dirty, making them unpleasant to handle. To top it off, the staff was not particularly friendly or attentive, and we were not informed about the sushi flat rate, which we would have appreciated knowing about. Overall, while the food was enjoyable, the cleanliness and service at this location leave much to be desired. I hope these issues are addressed, as they significantly detract from what could have been a great dining experience.
We did a sushi making lesson. It was loads of fun. The teacher was great with the kids and really warm and friendly. Great family activity. You get food to eat while there and you take away your own sushi in a platter.Food: 4/5
Recently dined at Yo Bond Street and had a delightful experience. The food was flavorful and well-prepared. The service was attentive and efficient, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere was comfortable, making it an excellent choice for a relaxed meal. Highly recommend!Food: 4/5
We had a lovely meal in this surprisingly peaceful sushi restaurant tucked behind an exceptionally crowded Oxford Street. The children really enjoyed the teriyaki chicken, which was kindly made for us without chillies, and they also loved the pancakes with tangy raspberry coulis. The original salmon plate is delicious, with sticky rice and delicate sweet salmon. Note the sticker is the time not the price! The salmon is yellow which means £8.95. Lovely time. Delighted we came here.
We did the sushi school. Family of 4 and we all had a great experience. The kids 11 and 15 loved it , as did we, and the instructor was patient and very kind. Well worth it and there was lots of food to eat after or take away!Food: 5/5
The best sushi making class with Noel at Yo Sushi in Bond Street. So much fun! He was friendly and knowledgeable would definitely recommend:Food: 5/5
Yo sushi school. We did their sushi making class. Noel was an excellent teacher and we learnt much and got to eat our creations. Would highly recommendFood: 5/5
First time at a sushi bar because I don’t like raw fish but friends persuaded me to try and actually I didn’t need to worry at all. There were plenty to choose from. The plates were big portions too. Loved the green goodness gyoza ramen from the main menu. The staff were super helpful and they had a sushi making workshop on at the time which looked fun. It’s quite small and cosy and perfect for a Sunday afternoon. Definitely recommend this place.
Good food, good concept with the plates turning on the belt, but they generally only put the more expensive dishes on there on never the simple less expensive stuff. I ordered most of my food from the menu and hardly used the belt. Rather expensive in my opinion.Food: 5/5
The food was good and the service excellent. Also learnt how to perfect my sushi making skills from chef Noel.Food: 5/5
