I fancied an Uncle Sams after a 10 hour shift last night - drove about 15 minutes to get there as just happened to be working in the area. It was about 10:30pm I went to open the door only to find out they had locked the door. All the lights were on as if they were open. They close at 11pm so I thought we had plenty of time to get in a order. I had parked outside and decided to find their number online and call them. I was waiting to see if anyone would come to the counter. After about 3 minutes of ringing a guy finally answered the phone but I could not see him. I asked if they were still open and he went NO and put the phone down. Never had a bad experience with any of the Uncle Sams in Brighton I wonder what was up with the one in Worthing. Won’t be going there again that’s for sure. Reckon these guys could be up to no good in the office if you know what I mean 😈

So pretty ok burger but then it’s a burger, the issue is the staff shocking untrained almost rude, to find one girl on the service counter in her shoes changing prices a step ladder would be better she walked around it slightly concerning that on getting down no cleaning done , one boy literally leaned on a wall never moved the15/20 mins I was there, clearly you pay peanuts you get monkeys , minimum wage she clearly liked moaning about everything, if this was my business I’d be concerned , shame food was ok , perhaps the staff are the ready no hygiene certificate is on show

We ordered a veggie deluxe meal, and the burger was completely wrong - no veggie burger or veggie bacon, just salad. The Chilli Pot was just a pot of the chilli sauce that they put on the burgers. I'm not sure that was correct... We only live about 3 minutes walk away, and by the time we got home all the food was cold. The woman on the till was constantly bickering with the other staff. This place has really gone down-hill.
