Simply the best asian restaurant in Dublin. We tried basically all the menu and everything was delicious from A to Z. The service also was perfect, they are super careful to give you the best experience possible and all the staff is kind, polite and friendly. Atmosphere, location, desserts also are amazing. I want to go back over and over again.. 100% recommended!
Good and fast service. Very friendly staff. It’s a decent size restaurant and quite elegant. I would really recommend their sushi and also the Vegetarian Gyoza. I would have rated 4, but I didn’t quite enjoy their tofu noodles. Somehow it was quite sour than what I have had previously and also the expresso martini was very bitter. Otherwise all good. I would like to visit again to try the other stuff in their menu.
All the food I tried was very good. For starters I had prawn tempura and chicken gyoza, both were great. For my main I had the bulgogi beef burger. It was very good, however if I went back I would try their other sharing plates. The burger wasn’t their strongest dish. I am grateful they were able to accommodate me and my four friends easily.
Been coming here since 2019. Definitely on the pricey side but they do not compromise quality at all- the lunch sets are fantastic. Love the sushi meal. Wait staff are friendly and know their beer pairings with the food menu. The stairs going down to the toilet is not very disabled friendly though- it was a bit of a struggle while on crutches.
We had an amazing dinner at Ukiyo. The place is very lively, and food is great. We tried the Korean fried chicken, crab fish nigiri, pork baos and the prawn tempura and they were all gorgeous. The cocktails were pretty good too. The service was fast and satisfactory. Overall a good spot in Dublin City centre for some good food. The place is open till late as it is also a late night bar.
Modern design restaurant, spacious, good music. Food was fresh, arranged very nicely. Tastewise it was ok, but i have to say it did not excite me. E.g. california roll did not taste like much and the sweet potato fries were super crispy but did not really taste like anything. The mayo dip that came with them was really good though. So overall nice atmosphere, modern interior, nothing unique though, nice food, but would have expected higher taste considering the prices.
Had a really good dinner here! We got sushi, gyoza, shrimp tempura, and beef stir fry. All were super good! I tried the cider on draft and it was amazing! The location is settled on the corner with good views of the street to people watch. Cozy little spot not a lot of seating so I recommend a reservation.
It's a beautiful place and the food is great, but the menu has completely changed since my last visit. There's not as much focus on Sushi anymore, unfortunately. What we ordered was great but we went there particularly for Sushi. The Guinness was excellent too.Food: 5/5
I liked the space, very spacious downstairs and smaller but quieter upstairs. It's known as a Japanese restaurant but the menu was a mix of all kinds of different Asian food. The Lava roll didn't taste like anything, really. As a Korean, their traditional Korean Bulgogi burger wasn't bulgogi. It was just a big bland-tasting patty with so much mayonnaise sauce. Not at all Korean bulgogi. Don't put things on the menu if you don't know what it is!! The only thing we liked was Kyoja and chips. Everything was extremely expensive, and the service was slow. I couldn't understand why we had to pay 36 euros for service charge8 people. I was really disappointed with food and ridiculously expensive prices. I don't mind spending on good food but it wasn't good at all. I only give 1 star to places where I will never visit again.
Great sushi restaurant. Their service was a little slow, and we got a few wrong items here and there, but they were friendly and fixed it fast. The food is delicious, and the cocktail jars are great for sharing.
