Attended A+E on New Year’s Day. Despite the immense pressure the NHS is under, all staff were professional, efficient and caring. They dealt with me quickly and carried out all investigations promptly. I arrived at 7am and was home for 12 midday. Very impressive, thank you.
I spent three weeks in ward 226 over the holiday period, thank you to all the staff, thoroughly professional but managing to retain their sense of humour.
I have spent some time at the Royal Stoke both Outpatients, as a patient and FEAU as a visitor. I can say that staff are working extremely hard to care for and treat patients as well as keeping them safe under what are still difficult circumstances. The whole complex is kept scrupulously clean and every precaution is taken. Please don't be concerned; if a loved one is admitted, they will be well cared for and, if you have an appointment, it's vital that you still attend.
Have no problem with the care my relative was given but there was a distinct lack of communication between departments and the parking at peak times of the day is non existant and very costly.
Well, cardiothoracic is doing really well to help clear all the back log cases and keeping patients and colleagues safe . Well done team !!!!!
Do not trust this hospital to save your life when diagnosed with pneumonia. Staff here do not inform the family about nothing.
