This petrol station is the cheapest you will find anywhere nearby as far as I can tell. The price is around 10-15p a litre less than most petrol stations. I believe it’s to do with being community run so they don’t take as big a cut as commercial petrol stations. As a result the petrol station is busy regularly and can imagine it can get backed up onto the road in peak times. Absolutely worth getting a full tank here if you’re nearby or passing.

We stayed over in Hawes and I noticed the advertised fuel prices and thought the machine had broken or not been updated for a long time. Found out it was a community owned fuel station and is subsidised by the community. What a wonderful idea. You have to authorise payment at a machine next to the kiosk and select which pump you are going to use. All simple enough.

Excellent petrol station.  The prices here are fabulous because it's not for profit!  Very helpful in these difficult times. Thank you so much.  Lovely, friendly staff too!

Best price we've seen in Yorkshire, not expected in the Dale's. At least 3p cheaper than in Leeds.

Conveniently located, competitive  pricing.  Some care needed using out of hours fuel system, it is easy to end up paying for someone else's fill up.

Community Garage, one of the best prices for fuel, hard to believe but better prices than the supermarkets.

Comparitively affordable fuel stocked here. Helpful and friendly kiosk staff. At busy times, wonder if a rejig of pump placement and forecourt layout would enable more vehicles to be taking on fuel synchronously. When forecourt is occupied,  queues develop quickly spilling  onto main street thereby impeding through traffic and pedestrians on pavement.

VERY popular place in village of Hawes. As of 19th August they were selling diesel at £1.68 per litre. YES £ 1.68. Everywhere else was over £ 1.85. Thank you

Can be a tight squeeze if you are in a big vehicle but worth it as it's the cheapest diesel/petrol for miles around. Best of all it's in the quaint Yorkshire dales village of hawes. It is 24 hour opening but card only when unmanned.
