I went to replace two faulty tyres as required by MOT. The staff who attended me pointed out that a third one also needed being replaced, as had a side cracked so I opted to do what he suggested and replace three tyres, for part worn ones. Also the fourth wheel which was in the boot, was fitted instead the emergency wheel, provisionally in use, once replaced its valve. Back to the MOT failed again because one of the tyres was damaged beyond security levels. Complaining to Tyre Supermarket the staff member firstly pretended that the sale was two months ago (two weeks and the car was SORN) Then remembered he supplied three tyres so, of course, the damaged was the other one, no supplied by him. His argument? The brand of two of the tyres was a brand they sell (part worn?). When I replied that the other one wasn't of the same brand he assured they sell that brand also. Please, allow me a brief advice, experience based: Don't be foulish like me to get your car there on order to save some few pounds. No far you can find Tyne Tyres, a proper serious business well priced, offering fair advice, friendly and experienced staff and. good quality products, or go somewhere else where you know you'll get the right stuff.
