My experience over the last few days has been great, instead of being obstructive they assisted. Dr Sali today was quick and efficient and more importantly she listened to me and took me seriously. E consult Is infuriating for everyone so maybe consider an alternative. A longer appointment window be beneficial for new patients with complex medical problems. Other than that great!
congratulations to the team at Tylorstown surgery. They seem to have created a system that in my opinion can actually MAKE YOU FEEL ILL. If you need an appointment you are requested to phone the NEXT DAY at 8 am then you will be placed in a que, In my recent experience, it took me 1 hour and 18 minutes to get an answer. Only to be told that all the appointments had gone, and to phone again the next day. when I told the receptionist I had been in the waiting in the que for well over an hour , she said the phone there had not rung in the last 15 minutes, she was unsympathetic and made me out to feel like a liar. Some of the staff there are quiet pleasant others have serious attitude problems. I think these receptionists have been personally trained by dr parini. this doctor has no place in this field, I've seen her once and vowed never to see her again, she hardly acknowledged I was in the room with her. she didn't let me explain my symptoms properly, and continuously talked over me, I left her room without any treatment, but instead suffered trauma from her. I felt like a scolded child when i left the surgery that day. I've been with this surgery for 58 years. and was reluctant to change surgery's But after experiencing the obvious decline in service ,together with the some arrogant staff and dr parini I have made the decision to relocate. If you suffer from any stress related conditions I would avoid this surgery. Your sanity may depend on it.
The receptionist and nurse that I have seen are great and really helpful and at least one of the GP is decent but they don't answer econsults and unfortunately if they call you and you miss the call they don't call back. Ynyshir surgery has weird opening times and are part of this surgery to much easier to get an appointment but unfortunately you have to call this one.
Made an appointment for a "Phone Consultation" and had to call back at 6pm only to find the Dr said they'd tried ringing me... Nope not a thing, the system they have in place stinks, and it seems the Drs are getting just as bad to!
One star is too much. This star is because of Dr Primini, why she is still allowed to practice is beyond me. She cant issue any medications that you need from consultants that you have seen. You could go in there with your head hanging off and she would tell you to take ibuprofen and paracetamol. Dr Primini does not listen to you fully and can not wait to get you off the phone or out of the room. I find her very disrespectful and rude. If you ask nicely for a second opinion, she will get another member of staff in because she says she feels threatened. Rest of the surgery is lovely and understanding it's a shame that 1 doctor can drag the surgery right down.
On the occasions I have had to visit the surgery I have always been seen promptly and received excellent advice/guidance. The waiting time has never been excessive and the staff are friendly.
Called everyday last week and this week from 8 o’clock and apparently they still don’t have any appointments. What’s the doctor to patient ratio? How does it fill up so quickly? If you need an appointment quickly then go to another surgery because this one can’t help you.
Just joined. So helpful and friendly. While you may wait a while it's more than worth it. Doctor was a exceptional, really felt like I mattered. Cannot praise ladies and doctors enough!
Receptionist think they the godfather of he business or something. They think they have so much power it's unreal. I seen 1 girl wait hour and half for her appointment and she was with a child, I've seen people just walk out because they can't wait any longer. He only good thing about it is he pharmacy next door, the women in there are brilliant
Run by some kind of witch Dr.. Locum Dr Primini is the worst doctor you cpuld ever see . Avoid like the plague. Expect to wait up to 2 hours past your appointment time before getting seen. Then get given nothing to help you
