*EDIT - You have blocked me on Facebook for sharing an honest opinion of your practice?? Unprofessional. I am perfectly aware of the strain on NHS workers during these difficult times but SOME, I repeat only SOME members of your staff have always been the same. I clearly stated that only 2 particular members of staff both receptionist & doctor needed to be informed/retrained on their treatment of patients and I clearly stated on Facebook that most of your doctors and staff are a credit to the surgery so do not undermine and discredit my opinion using the current crisis as an excuse** SOME rude and unhelpful staff and an abrupt, callous doctor. Giving 2* instead of 1* as some staff members are genuinely lovely and accommodating but one receptionist doesn’t even have the courtesy of using an appropriate telephone manner when taking your call. I’m sorry but “can help yewwww” upon initially taking your call is unacceptable and I professional. This particular member of staff doesn’t even let you finish and feels like she’s just trying to put the phone down on you as soon as she can. I was told by the GP that I could change my address over the phone and the receptionist couldn’t even be bothered to take 2mins to do it, just told me to call in. Just laziness and incompetence. The amount of times that I have specifically informed a receptionist that I need two appointments for two separate issues only to be met with a doctor who gives me an attitude saying that he hasn’t been informed. This doctor has also treated ME as if this is my fault and that he won’t have time for my other issue when I have been told by a receptionist that it “should be fine” on more than one occasion. He should be having a chat with his staff who clearly are not informing doctors of more than one appointment needed. I never leave bad reviews and have been overly patient and understanding on these matters in the past but I will not be remaining as a patient at this surgery. Seriously needs to re-train SOME members of staff on how to speak to patients and have doctors who actually care about their patients not all doctors, some members of staff are amazing and an absolute credit to the surgery.
It’s impossible to get an actual appointment fair enough with shortages but even been able to get though to reception is a full on mission as it says it’s open from 8 yet the automated service ether says it’s closed or that the line is busy and when you do finally get though that’s it you got though in time for them to actually have appointments… it’s all phone calls not once have I seen a doctor other then when getting my inplant removed and then the doctor was extremely unprepared didn’t know where anything was and missed my arm when numbing it such a awful experience and on top of that the doctors refuse to make any type of much needed referrals making obvious statements like have you tried a bubble bath… every single time I have called about the same issue I’m ether belittled and talked down to or given the quick fix and having to come back every week the doctors that I have dealt with at this doctors have not been helpful and completely disregard me as if it’s not there job to help people I recently moved about 4 month ago from ash grove medical, Pontypridd and hadn’t encountered any of these issues so simply blaming everything on demand is a complete cop out
Receptionist amazing district nurse amazing drs are awful cant be bothered to sit down an explain what could be wrong with you had a physio appointment had a letter dr whants to discuss your physio report I goes there first question by the dr what did the physio tell you what's wrong oh ok dr then didnt tell me nothing apart from we sending you to a specialist an guess what didnt even tell me what specialist they are very unprofessional
Doctor Barrett is the best Doctor EVER !!!! I've gone private in the past as some of the Doctors just don't help and talk to me to explain things. Doctor Barrett has literally saved my life, through appointments, medication and actually talking to me, and helping me without asking, just checking up on things I've been anxious about. To say I would recommend Dr Barrett is an understatement. Dr Barrett I owe you my life xx Its Nikki Gunner Sixx, not Amanda Price xx
Helpful receptionists and blood nurse .Impossible to get to see a doctor

Receptionists are second to none, helpful and discreet.
