An ideal place for lunch/drinks and a catch up with friends. It is in an ideal location in the centre of Camborne and has lots of room for dining and an outdoor seating area too. Some things need a little TLC like worn seating and scuffed tables but this also adds to the casual feeling of the place. The service was really friendly and the food was good.
Fantastic hotel, great food and service. The bathroom ls are very modern, but the rooms aren't. The pillow cases and sheets smelt stale so we had to ask for fresh ones. It's very centrally located, so you do get a lot of noise. It's on an island, so as the double decker buses turned, the top floor could look right into our room. The TV signal didn't work until staff stuck the wire to the wall with blue tack. All in all, not too bad, but room for improvement with the rooms.
Just had my sisters wedding reception here and I can't say how amazing the staff were, and the food was excellent, best cheese cake I've ever had! Amazing evening buffet as well.nnI would highly recommend using Tyacks for functions, they put so much effort in to ensuring you have a great experience.
I wouldn’t even give one star but you can’t give no stars I paid for a room and had to contact the hotel to rearrange due to my friend not being able to meet me on those dates then had to have back surgery and became ill with severe depression, they would not give me a refund at all Even though I explained the situation to them I even contacted the owner. This is not the way to keep customers especially not in this climate when businesses are having to close down I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Save your money. Don’t bother if they haven’t got the human decency to refund someone’s money Under the circumstances then they do not deserve to still be in business. I was in retail myself for many years and I know they will get most of their business through word of mouth on average. A customer will tell person about a good sales experience, but the statistics state they will tell four people about a bad one.
Staff very friendly and polite. Food came out quick and good sized potion. Sadly the quality of the food and seasoning was poor. Very bland
