Had a wonderful stay...the room was large, very clean ..modern shower/toilet...nLocation is perfect, with Aldi supermarket just across the road.nThe only negative is that one has to look for free parking which is some distance away.nWould definitely recommend.
First time in Wetherspoons hotel and really impressed with the spacious clean room, well designed, good shower room, facilities and friendly helpful staff. Excellent location and price. Will book again.
After seeing adverts online I expected a walk in shower but in room 209 we got a bath with shower over. The bath was quite high and hard to get in/ out. I’m aged but not infirm but feel this room should not be let to anyone even slightly disabled.nCouldn’t get my leg over!nEverything else about the hotel and pub was fine.
I had a great experience staying here, and was so comfortable I decided to stay an extra couple of days to explore the area some more. Camborne is a great base for this, and it has a bingo hall. Yes it has its issues but I enjoyed being in the town and the bus station is great to start exploring from and just a short walk from the hotel. Back to the hotel and it was absolutely spotless, the staff were very friendly and I was given a family room with space to move around a bit and it had both a walk in shower and a bath. Plenty of water, tea, biscuits etc. Although in the same building the hotel is separate from the pub part, you don't even need to go into the pub if you don't want to - I went in a couple of times, once for breakfast and once for a refreshing orange juice in the pretty back garden. It looked nice and clean and well run and the staff very helpful, although I would imagine it's heaving at busy times! I had absolutely no issues with my stay and will definitely be coming back. Thanks!
I really like this wetherspoons, one of the best in Cornwall. And, unusually, toilets on ground floor.nnIts a biggish spoons, and has the advantage that tables aren't crammed together, overly tight.nnIt also has a yard in the back, with flower baskets, which when in condition look stunning.nnI've eaten various meals here, the pizza, the curry, the mixed grill now discontinued
