Just the best place to stay in North Wales. A great base to explore from with everything worth seeing close by or not too far away. Jane is just the best host and breakfast is all freshly cooked with the best local ingredients. If you stay in one of the cottages you get to feed a log fire with wood from the barn!! Very therapeutic to feed a fire as well as making a place cosy. Back here like a shot when work permits it.

We’ve booked with Jane based on the description given on her main source of advertising - TripAdvisor. Thinking that we would have breakfast included and nothing was said indicating the contrary. When we’ve arrived, tired from a 5h long journey. She wasn’t there to receive us and acted as if she didn’t know why we were there even though we communicated all day by email. It was the most awkward welcome I’ve ever had. When we asked her how to fill in the breakfast forms that were all over our welcome pack she said, and I quote: ‘you don’t get any breakfast included unless you give me something for it’. Not exactly what you want to hear when you go on holiday. If breakfast is not included on a Bed and Breakfast it needs to be specified somewhere! It’s the same as advertising for Wi-Fi and then asking ‘something for it’ upon arrival.

We stayed at Ty Mawr Farm. It was a beautiful cottage with fantastic views and lots of chickens, which were so lovely. Breakfast in the farmhouse was a real treat, the best I have had, along with a really friendly host. We were going for the Zip Wire experience and were looking for a place to stay which was near, and we soon realized that this cottage was in the best place possible for lots of adventures.

Thanks Jane for a wonderful experience, and we will be seeing you again soon
