Great usually call in on my own for quick pint took kids after a walk to rothwell country park. Ask if they did hot chocolate or tea. No hot chocolate but they was nice enough to give kids a big pot of tea

Great  pub  ok  so it needs a refurb. But that's  not everything.  It's an independent pub and that means  a lot nowadays.  Nice people.  Good beer.

Its 1930 hrs and this place is jumping. Very popular. Lots of locals drinking ale too. I asked them ! Im having a well kept pint of Black Sheep. Nice, cheeky bar staff. Good pub.

Friendly staff, good array of beers and great entertainments on a Sunday night

The pointers is a typical local pub,  serves decent beer, the staff are always friendly. There is a games room with a pool table and they show live sports. unfortunately the pub lacks any real atmosphere,, and the decor is a little tired. Certainly worth nipping in for a pint whilst your waiting for a pizza at the local pizza place.

Proper pub!!! Sunday quiz is fun. Friendly staff, good clientele and a light atmosphere.
