Okay, the interior is a bit dated, but their service is impeccable! The ladies are friendly and full of smiles. They are super helpful AND the jumper was done within 5 hours, compared to other dry cleaners who stated the minimum was a day and a half later! They are a GEM with competitive prices in a world of sub par service. I will most definitely be coming back when I need their services again. Thank you for your quality service, it is appreciated!
Avoid at all costs…be aware, they promise you to dry clean in 24 hours. They throw your clothes on the floor before that and can’t find them when you come to pick your clothes up. No clothes were dry cleaned and the jeans were terrible sown together. What a shame and waste of my time. The waiting time to make them search for my clothes was about 45min.
I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Travelers looking to have a simple load of laundry done beware. I wish I hadn’t paid up front for the service. If you’re doing a wash and dry it’ll cost you 12 pounds per load, which I was fine with, but they didn’t fold any of my clothes and when I returned to retrieve them they were in the same nasty laundry basket they had put them in when I dropped them off. When I asked the woman why they weren’t folded she said it would be another 10 pounds. Also, both staff members I interacted with were rude. They also tried to give me a pair of jeans that weren’t mine, so I wouldn’t trust this place with any kind of clothing/services of my ever again.
Fabulous little but fairly large dry cleaners. The shop seems to be open really late, so you can get your dry cleaning done even if you finish work late very good cleaning. They also do alterations which work out perfectly and they are also very fairly priced. Overall, I'd use these guys every time if I was nearby.
Very shocked at the service received. They made a mistake with my alteration and when I pointed it out they were being very rude and not even looking at the error they made. They kept shouting at me to go and try it on which I calmly did. When I said it’s still not right they started shouting and swearing. I can’t believe this is how they treat their paying customers. They all then started to gang up on me for no reason. Worst service ever received. They couldn’t even admit they made a mistake. Never going back again and wouldn’t advise anyone else going there either!!
I've been having my clothes altered at Twins for around 15 years from when they were on Kingly Street. The quality of the work, the price and the service are all faultless. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
I would give 0 stars if I could. They were so rude to me when I went, speaking in their own language and laughing. My trousers weren't even ready when they said they would be, but they didn't warn me or offer any discount/compensation. I did not mind that they were ready later, just that I wasted my time travelling to them as they were recommended. I've never been so blatantly disrespected in my life. They were rolling their eyes and calling me "noise". Do not go there if you can avoid. Huge disappointment.
Great little treasure in the heart of a fancy area. Never saw a shop so busy but so effective. My compliments to the seamstress, very intuitive and professional. Good prices and good quality results. Definitely a 5 stars!!!
Very cheap and quick service for both your alterations and dry cleaning. The Vietnamese lady is extremely lovely and accommodating. VERY rarely but little flaws can happen, but only when rushed - I need it for yesterday kind of scenario : so give it a 'human' amount of time if you want it to be perfect. Nonetheless the kind SERVICE, LOCATION and the PRICE make up for it big time. Thank you for all your help! :
I was recomended Tam @ Twins after years of bad tailoring experiences at high end tailors. I have been with her for years now and have not looked back. I lost 4 stone and quickly found my clothes didn't fit and Tam has performed magic on about 60-70 of my clothes, from taking in jackets, hemming trousers/jeans, altering waists, adding pockets, altering my whole tuxedo and lounge jacket. As a comparison, before Tam I had one item which was done elsewhere at a far more substantial cost but Tam's work was better / equivalent of the other place which charged more money. Crucially she seems to have a nact for getting things spot on first time, she even altered my cycling jersey which had a large sentimental value to me, something as fellow cyclists may know is near impossible to get done even the big labels don't do it. I have seen some of the other reviews, I am not entirely sure what happened because as far as I am concerned given the price, her friendliness level of service and the fact she takes personal pride - if there is ever any issue I imagine she will sort it out, timeliness she has saved me a few times when I needed a piece done for a dinner I was going to and quality of work she is more than worthy of 5 stars.
