I have been a customer of Turners for donkeys years - back when they were the place to be for car stereos and bass bins - the good old days! Whilst they don't do those things anymore, though they would fit them for you, I remain a loyal customer and have only ever gone to a manufacturers garage when I have had a car that has fallen under a manufacturers warranty, however my last manufacturer visit was so awful that I could not wait to get back to Turners and have them look after me and my car! They really are the BEST car mechanics around and specialise in a whole host of automotive things. Their hourly rate is also considerably less than any manufacturer, I believe up to 50% less than my German vehicle manufacturer! The guys are all very personable from the owner Alan, to all of the mechanics, Nigel and Matt and the other guys I have seen about the place. I seem to tend to deal with Nigel most of the time and he is brilliant with a wicked sense of humour - he is also a brilliant mechanic and seems to specialise in my German vehicle amongst others. What really impresses me though is the dedication to high levels of customer care and customer satisfaction. They really go above and beyond to look after you and your vehicle, keeping in regular contact with you to update you on progress, update you on findings etc. I took my car in recently after driving down a huge pothole and damaging one of my run flat tyres and subsequently ruining the 4 wheel drive alignment and possibly damaging the suspension and Nigel got to work - doing his thing! Turners are incredibly honest and reliable - which is why I keep going back. I told them that I thought the pothole had damaged my suspension as well and after a thorough inspection, having changed the tyre for a new one, they were satisfied that the suspension was not damaged but did discover that the 4 wheel driving alignment had been affected by the pothole and subsequently re-aligned them and road tested my vehicle. A number of days later, by complete coincidence I had cause to go back to Turners because I felt my car just didn't feel right. They carefully listened to what I was describing and kept the car overnight for an inspection and road test but could not find any fault with it. To my absolute amazement and astonishment when I went back to collect it, they did not charge me at all and were just really happy they could put my mind at ease that nothing was wrong after they had fixed it on the previous job. I recommend Turners all over the place and my family have utilised their services as a result. My dad had his car cameras fitted at Turners and they are still going strong several years later. If you live in Croydon or the surrounding areas then you will not find a better place than Turners for all your car mechanic needs. I very highly recommend Turners. They are simply the BEST.
If you would like to use a trusted garage and fair and reasonable price I would recommend Turners you’ll be in good hands. Allen is extremely helpful and his staff get the job done to the customers satisfaction. Best garage I visited in this country. They have everything they need to diagnose your car, they are knowledgeable, professional, courteous. Every single time they were able to identify the problems and fixed my BMW, even for faults that the official garage was unable to identify.Services: Auto water leak repair

Excellent top-rate service. They fixed my car lock, and I asked them to look at a huge dent in the door, with a view to a repair estimate, or leaving off a panel so I could try a home repair. To my delight, they knocked out the panel, restoring the door to perfection, and only charged £40. Their diagnosis skills and professional expertise are second to none, and they are very nice people to deal with: honest, friendly, personable and reliable. I dealt with Dan and Malcolm, but all of the team seem equally nice.
Excellent service. Very knowledgeable lot. I was first referred to them a few years back from a huge car dealership who couldn't fix a problem with the car lock. The fault was found and fixed promptly. More recently, my wife's car was serviced, fixed and MOTed with minimal fuss and explaining everything along the way. Booking my own car in for a service too!
Definitely recommend this place. I chose after reading the reviews& they didn't disappoint. They were helpful, reasonable & fair with advise, recommendation, price & work undertaken. This will be my garage moving forward :-
Good experience servicing both of my cars at Turners. Their repair/maintenance price estimates are usually good, but most importantly you get an impression of trustworthiness when you speak to them and this alone is an almost impossible ask in London with most garages trying to rip you off. Also, their customer service is good and they are easy to deal with. Would recommend this place to others.
