Only went in because it was raining and We didn't want to walk to a further away Indian. Sure glad we did. Dining room was airy and spacious. Staff were warm and friendly. Seated quickly and served a drink nice and speedy. Popadoms were superb. Mixed starter to share arrived promptly and was dispatched nearly as quickly due to its excellent quality. Same for main course . On leaving staff were attentive and friendly. This is our new favourite restaurant.
Can an Indian restaurant get any better than this? I went with my whole family and the moment I entered the doors I was dazzled by stunningly bright lights. The restaurant itself was beautiful, spacious and magnificently decorated with brightly-coloured beautifications and comfy seats. The food served was first class and delicious. It was hot, perfectly-flavoured and the biryani was just superb. Staff very friendly and welcoming and I would recommend everybody to dine there if you want to be served perfection, I mean perfection! Best restaurant in the whole of Sutton Coldfield and the best in my life! I loved every second of it!
Big group of 15 turned up without booking on a Friday night. Staff were very helpful, and managed to get all the orders out pretty much together. Food was very tasty and well presented. Would definitely go again.
The food was okay, although the Pathia was a little sweet for my liking. The staff were friendly and accommodating, however the service was slow, we waited around 25 minutes for our drinks to arrive, they were beaten by the popodoms! Not a bad Indian resteraunt, just not very exciting.
Went on Saturday night, about 7.30, only 2 people, terrible service, almost walked it to so long to get the food, which was mediocre at very best. Sauce was bland, chicken felt made of rubber even the poppadums were not fresh cooked, with some shop bought dips and no salad. Overall useless, avoid at all costs.
Terrible food - it's not cooked from fresh in many instances, poor quality meat and bland flavours & textures. It's a cheap curry - when my partners starter arrived she couldn't beleive that the grey sauce was cooked properly she's Indian and would definitely know. Instead of apologising or trying to rectify the problem the waiter tried to tell us that they just cook that particular dish differently. Very dubious. Dry chicken and unflavoured sauce. We didn't finish the mains and didn't want the leftovers packed.
Really quite bad , watered down mint sauce stale popadoms . I had chicken tikka and it had plenty of colour but no flavour . And the lamb balti was fatty and tasteless. Nan bread was ok though . Was quite shocked at the cost too when I received the bill . Come turmeric Jones your customers deserve better !!
Interior is grand and portions are generous, combined with the simple awesome value for food means you can splash on some well made drinks. One of the best curry houses in Sutton.
Food was grate but the staff who I believe was also the owner was very rude and kept interrupting my friend during our meal because he knew him. He kept taking in his own language at him in an unpleasant manner. Very unprofessional
Best Indian food I have ever tasted. Waiter was extremely funny too which made us all feel welcomed and there to have a good time.
