The Deli next door is no expection. Homemade Sandwiches and Salad can be taken away or eaten in the cosy Deli seating area and guest pop in and out all day, either for an exceptional cooked Breakfast (Served 7 days a week) - try "The Deli Ham and Gruyere French Toast!" or "Freshly toasted muffin topped with rocket salad, a poached egg and crsips bacon".

The Events Team are also at hand, they are use to cooking for all sorts of different styles of events, from small individual Dinner Parties, to large Society Balls. Or use the Deli "Traiter" service where you can order your party food ready to go!

The Cookery School is at the back and Claude has numerous courses on offer for either behinners or accomplished cooks.

And if all of this is not enough "The Chef's Table" is a must for any special occasion! You will be sat around the beautiful Maple Table, where the cooker is in-set and Claude will cook a bespoke meal for you and your guest right in front of you, the entire events, will be arranged in advance.

dessert was nice, a lot of food for a 3 course meal - lunch time. Atmosphere is nice & Kids friendly restaurant with colouring pencils available! Food is pricey though.
Really like the food and the atmosphere here. The restaurant has been open for years and you can tell its a well established part of the community. On the ceilings and walls there are drawings done by guests over the years which I think is really cool idea. The staff were also very friendly.
Was my favourite place. Since the new management have taken over the staff have not been the same which is a shame. Not the same friendly and familiar experience you get anymore. Hope it picks up. Thank god the kitchen staff are still in the know!
The food is decent and affordable. The staff are especially kind. In fact the service contributed the most to this good experience.
I’ve come here many times with a group for lunch, drinks, and dinner. Lately the service and quality have gone down. My food was average, but the mussels that came with the salmon were dry and tough - inedible. The wine was stale - tasted like it had been opened days ago. The waiter/manager ignored me when I came in waiting for a table, then asked me to leave a positive review. I’m sad because this used to be a favorite spot, but my last couple visits were disappointing.
3 stars as although 3 out of the 4 dishes were very good, the slow service was disappointing. Calamari and the scallops were very good as usual, as was the salmon linguine, however the asparagus risotto was stodgy and couldn't be finished. We waited along time for our first drinks to arrive and had to ask for a jug of water even though there were glasses for water on the table. A second drink ordered halfway through our main course was cancelled after it still hadn't arrived by the time we had finished eating. The were very few other diners it was lunchtime Saturday and the bar was empty so couldn't fathom why the service was poor. Deserts were fine but I declined ordering a coffee as I couldn't face the long wait for it to arrive.
Used to be one of my favourite places, not sure what happened but definitely needs to be addressed the poor service, they took 40 minutes just to take our drink order, half hour more to have the one drink missing. Food even worse was stone cold and stinking like gone off, won't be back there for sure.
Friendly staff badly let down by poor food. Peak time on Friday evening and just 3 tables full says it all. I’m afraid that Tummies has gone downhill with a poor menu, poorly executed. Ordered calamari which was inedible, very chewy, and a burger which was murdered and served with reheated potato wedges. Two stars because of friendly staff and a good kids meal.
Visited last Tuesday we had pre-ordered sandwiches and had to wait an hour for the to turn up. The sandwiches weren’t great. Toilets weren’t very clean. The trip was disappointing. This place used to be a go to for people from my office and used to be great but has gone down hill based on this visit.
I used to love this restaurant. I loved their Brie and bacon panini and their English breakfast, plus a whole host of other dishes. The last three times I pre-orders either a panini it was awful. They were on inferior panini bread, there was hardly any Brie in it and it was packed with too much bacon. I tried to order that again and it was just as poor. I waited half an hour for it, when thought I pre-ordered it and it was stone cold. I then tried a breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs instead of fried for a takeaway. I pre-ordered it and I again had to wait for Hal an hour for it to appear. I was given two slices of bread and all the elements for the sandwich were given to me in a plastic box. I had to assemble it myself when I got home. The quality of each individual element was awful too. The bacon was very fatty and extremely salty, the sausages were cheap nasty thin frozen ones and the eggs were over cooked. They used to serve their breakfasts with lovely fat sausages and good quality bacon and their scrambled eggs were never over cooked. It’s a crying shame because this was a great restaurant with a solid trade from the trading estate during the week and locals in the evening and weekends. I cannot see that continuing now. It’s changed hands a few times and I guess if people are not working from offices anymore then it cannot live up to it’s former glory.
