Due to open early August the new venue, which will be named “Podiem” is incorporating an organic theme close to the world of sports, offering wholesome and healthy food options, a fully licensed bar and a vast selection of hot and cold drinks. Podiem will be a venue where everyone is welcome, families, friends, large or small groups, or even for that quiet Coffee.

I’ve just left tudor grange to go to virgin active. Yes I’m paying a bit more but am getting so much more in return.  For the money I was paying I expected clean facilities (dirty nappy found in changing room) dirt marks all over changing room floors.  Having to share my aqua aerobics class with raucous kids jumping in the pool. Never being able to book a Pilates or yoga class.  Basic gym facilities.  These guys really need to up their game if they want to compete with the likes of Virgin  or David Lloyd , who for about a tenner more a month you get first class facilities.

Could be cleaner, there are leaks above the changing rooms, the instructors are quite good but the desk staff etc don't seem to care. It seems to have gone down hill. But it's a decent size pool. I can't coment on the other facilities there (gym, etc) as I don't use them.

Good courts but the phone in court booking system is a joke. Please change your system to allow payment on arrival at the centre. No one wants to read out all of their bank details including their security code on the back of the card to one of your receptionists over the phone. This is a ridiculous system. Please update!
