IT' HAS THAT" RETRO FEEL' TO IT" WITH PADDED BENCH SEATING HUGGING BOTH SIDES OF THE TABLES.. AND IS VERY BUSY AND VIBRANT.. THE GRUB! IS TO DIE FOR.. IS VALUE FOR MONEY.. AND THERE'S A LARGE MENU TO PICK FROM.. FROM HOME MADE STEAK PIE. SET BREAKFAST WITH A HOT DRINK AND BREAD AND BUTTER. APPLE & CUSTARD OR ICE CREAM.. JAM ROLY POLY & CUSTARD.. Typical cafe for locals and not somewhere I would go to impress people. I stopped by as I was waiting for an appointment, so had time to waste. I ordered a sausage sandwich, which was hot (surprisingly this isn't always the case in other cafés!) and at £2.10 was pretty reasonable. The sausages seemed quite cheap but I guess considering the price that's understandable. The staff were friendly and I felt they would go out of their way if asked.

The staff r great and the food is brilliant all the veg is fresh none of that frozen veg

Fantastic little cafe. Caters for all needs and has a very extensive menu.
