I contacted Harry True to provide advice in relation to a section 20 notice procedure from a lease holder perspective. Harry has provided clear, candid and responsive advice that has made the position / options available fully understandable to someone not experienced in property matters. I would thoroughly recommend Harry and True Associates to provide high quality advice which clearly puts the best interests of their clients first and foremost.
Harry carried out a Specific Defects Report to advise on contradicting recommendations I received from different builders. His team was quick to respond and he arrived on time, giving helpful guidance on what type of repair is needed, what he would recommend doing, and what is "nice to have". It gave me great peace of mind having an independent assessment and recommendation in terms of next steps. I will definitely work again with Harry and his team in the future.

As you know my elderly dad was targeted by a very dodgy builder, and your confidence in recommending the best approach to take, and how ready you were to support us to get things right, has made such a difference. Harry was very helpful and knowledgable in answering a boundary line / fence discussion we were having with our neighbours. All sorted with no problems at all. Thank you.
I contacted Harry True to seek advice regarding an issue with work carried out by a loft company. Harry provided excellent advice and reviewed the loft company contract and video evidence showing the fault. He assisted with writing a letter to the loft company and determined that I should pursue the them to fix the issue or to seek compensation for costs to fix. As the nature and responsibility of the issue was quite clear, Harry did not charge for this advice which was greatly appreciated. I would imagine that there would be many other surveyors who would have been quite keen to unnecessarily write a costly report at this stage. I would definitely use True Associates again and would recommend to others.
Harry True is very experienced and professional. When you contact him his first thoughts are trying to help you to the best of his knowledge unlike the others who try to make as much money from you as they can. Harry 's fees are very reasonable. I just wish there were more surveyors and solicitors like him and am glad I have found one.
True Associates is expensive for sure, but where my dealings with them got unstuck was when I had an unexpected and urgent issue with my party wall needs and the firm blanked me for three weeks, not returning my calls even when begged to. The firm showed a true lack of care and empathy with my situation, despite having billed me almost £5,000. Truly disappointing.
Harry True has adviced me on a number of issues including a loft conversion valuation. He is incredibly knowledable of the local housing market and always puts his clients' interests first - even ahead of his firm's. He adviced me not to convert my loft even though it would have earnt his firm lots of fees because it wasn't in my best financial interest. A rare find and a local legend! I can't recommend him enough
He gave me an informed opinion over the phone, without asking for a fee and in fact refusing an unneeded job offer: very honest and commendable of him.
Had a call with Harry today with respect to a survey for a new purchase. He was very professional and honest with his advice, he even suggested not needing certain services that I was asking for quotes for. While I haven't now used them for services, they were very helpful.
