I had such an amazing time here. The staff are brilliant and the talks we watched were very informative.nThe tropical area was great...I really enjoyed having the butterflies flying around and feeding the koi. It was also really interesting to see the bananas growing.nWe ate at Cafe and the food was lovelynI really enjoyed being able to brush and feed the goats.nCan't wait to visit with my children
It was nice to go back and see the new changes. Would recommend you take your own refreshments as the queues were very long and only one kiosk. Gift shop could be larger to be honest as it's only a shed really.
Had a fun day there ; The butterfly sanctuary is truly MAGICAL. I even got to pet a kangaroo, a goat and a pig nThere are plenty of parking spaces, so that is not an issue. Staff members are polite and friendly, the area is quite clean. There is a hot-dog and ice cream stand, in case you didn't bring food with you, prices are quite reasonable. I enjoyed the experience!
It's great to see this place open again. I feel that they should focus their investment in what's already there before they continue expanding the place but definitely great for the family. Make sure you bring your wellies!
We popped here on a saturday during half term. Busy in car park but once we got inside it was all fairly quiet. Really enjoyed the butterfly area. We spent some time exploring outside, although our little one also enjoyed playing on the diggers and playpark!nnIt is a good little zoo, although at £12.95 per adult not overly cheap for entry. We had some lunch in the cafe and it was fine, prob going rate in terms of price etc. Bit of a pain that when you exit to cafe you then need to reentry through main entrance - but on grand scheme of things not a major issue.
