I had an awful experience at the reception here. The staff was completely unresponsive. My wife had contacted the GP on call to get a prescription because she was flying in two days. They told her over the phone that we could get the prescription, so I booked a taxi and went to the GP. When I arrived, they said they couldn’t provide the prescription and that I needed to go to the chemist, despite my mentioning that my wife had been told otherwise. I called my wife to explain, and she called them back. They told her yes again that they will provide it to her husband but said no to me. This call in cycle happened three times. The lady at the reception was answering me with the expressions like I have asked her to donate her kidneys to me. It felt like a joke. Finally, my wife took a taxi to the GP, and a woman appeared from nowhere with the prescription and gave it to my wife. The whole ordeal cost me £30 and was the worst experience of my life.
well I had to say they have some really good doctors like Dr. Helen Bowler and Dr. Khan and dr Mohammad Zeb and doctor Zarov they are really good the are doing their best to help and find the root cause of problems really appreciate their efforts also the receptionists
I rang for two things this morning. It took endless calls as the line was engaged. I got through the first time and the answerphone was so muffled I couldn't understand the choices so rang again and line engaged again. Finally it rang, I was 9th in the queue. From start to finish it was 40 mins to get connected. I can't believe how antiquated this system is, other practices have online booking through a triage system, we can't even email.nTo top this all off I'm told there are no appointments left call back tomorrow so I'll have to go through it all again.nI asked last year about getting a Shingles vaccine and told I qualified but they had no stock and to ring back so I also asked about getting that done but was told I wasn't old enough and yet NHS England clearly say that I am.nIf and when I get to see a doctor they're usually very pleasant and helpful, but the way the practice is run and has been for some time needs a serious overhaul.nI'm not a moaner and rarely need to visit the practice, but it puts me off getting looked at when you have to go through the rigmarole.
Just want to say thanks to the reception staff I've dealt with at this practice. They have always been really helpful. I support relatives who are registered here and can't fault the face to face service I've received.
