I love this place! Plenty of low key walking on paths to avoid the mud walking! Or plenty of muddy, woody walks! Local gorse, climate and beautiful habitat, any time of year! My friend introduced me to Trent Park in 1997! There's some parking and there's also local piccadilly Cockfosters Tube a short walk to get there! There's facility for all ages! The cafe is really homely too! They embrace local habitat and all sorts of folk with or without dogs! They have outside heating facility too! There's toilets at the main entrance cafe. It pretty much remains unspoilt. Great place to explore. In late August the cricket chorus can be heard, if you're exceptionally lucky....

Great place! I didn't have huge expectations but was very pleased with the park and facilities available. Go Ape makes it a destination for adults and older kids, while otherwise the park is huge and you can make a day out of it. The animal rescue centre was the highlight for us, lovely and heart warming place! The park has toilets and a great restaurant, not as cheap as you would expect but good food and snacks. Parking is sufficient, too.

Beautiful place to walk your dog, let the kids run loose! There's a good play area as well, loved the animals there! Even adopted 2 owls!! The staff were really lovely. Definitely going back.

A lovely country park. Plenty to offer, for young and old. Good trails through woods and open space. A lake. Fishing permit required. Has a good Japanese garden area. Go Ape as well for both children and adults. Good café. Plenty of parking.

Nice big wide open space. Decent cafe and play areas although could really do with some more things to do. There is a go ape but other than that and the few play areas it is just a big space. Not a bad thing of course but just feel it could have something more for kids. If you love nature I recommend the great wood and some lovely walks in cuffley.
