Camped here for 8 nights in August. Lovely clean swimming pool and arcade room. Pub/tavern in site open each evening. Shop and cafe open 2x daily. All cash only. Already booked to return for next year!Service: 5/5
Excellent base for travelling to other areas of Cornwall. Stayed in a house last year and this year a bungalow. Both come with everything needed in the kitchen area. Amusement arcade opens up late afternoon and bar at 7pm. Drinks are excellent priced with entertainment on most nights. Every one is friendly. Chip shop on site selling good portions of food. Small shop that has a good selection of items from 5pm to 8pm. Pool is an excellent addition to the site.
The private beach that is a fairly risky climb down to is possibly one of the most beautiful I’ve seen. I’ve seen many. The campsite is magical, even the local wildlife are friendly. The owners have thought of everything from freezing ice packs for you to plugs for charging etc… Lovely little shop on site. Definitely going back to this one!
Nice place good bar, takeaway, shop launderette cash only Nice swimming pool. Stayed in our touring caravan, good showers and toilet facilities always cleanService: 5/5
Did camping on this site and loved it. Clean, friendly, family site with great amenities, ie pool, club house with entertainment, play area. One of the best sites in 20+ years of camping and at a good price.Location: 5/5
Lovely site and swimming pool. Pitches are spacious and we'll marked out. Water, electric and waste all on one pitch. Quiet site. Would book again!Rooms: 5/5
It’s okay. The houses are average, you’re expected to put the bedding on yourself and remove it yourself, etc. The Wi-Fi was out while I was there and it costs £10 per device for a week. The entertainment is okay. Great location thoughRooms: 3/5
We camped here for 1 night, lovely location same the plots weren't bigger as the kids couldn't play next to the tent but there was places they could play but just not outside the tent. Evening entertainment was good fun.Rooms: 3/5
Beautiful site. Staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. Been coming here for over 30 years. Site is clean, well maintained and clearly cared for. Toilets and showers are clean and tidy. Gone from holidays with my parents to taking my own family and extended family too! Close to local amenities and a short walk to town. Can't wait to visit again soon always have a fab fun filled family holiday here.
Honestly the thought of staying at a holiday camp was my worst nightmare... Having terrible experiences in the past. Trencreek far exceeded any expectations I had. I found the shop and amenities to be very handy. The amenities had a 90s US summer camp feel to them and it made me smile. For those complaining about the shop, they can't be expected to stock everything all the time. That's silly. There is a Morrison's in walking distance if you're desperate for something. Signs were clearly posted for opening times if amenities during our 9 days there. The grounds are beautifully maintained and staff was always on hand, accomodating, and friendly. We stayed in a 2 bed bungalow and slept on the pull out sofa. Initially I was worried about using it as I'm a big girl and those things are notorious for being uncomfortable. I had a good night's sleep every time and preferred it to our air mattress that we had brought. Our friends who travelled with us enjoyed their bedrooms and were comfortable. The kitchen facilities were well stocked with the basics and we didn't need to get anything apart from a dish towel, soap and sponge. Everything was great, the best part for me was the quiet. I was worried about the noise levels at night but honestly it was quiet by 11pm. I had nothing to worry about at all. I think the only small gripe I could have would be hat no dogs are allowed and I missed mine but knowing how irresponsible a lot of owners are, I completely understand. 100% would recommend and rebook!!! Absolutely loved it!
