Perfect theme park for children under 12 years old. We visited at the weekend and the kids had the best time ever. We went on the tree top nets first before hitting the rides. They loved the new park and huge sand pit! And the water slide was definitely their favourite! Would definitely recommend a visit here!
Excellent theme park to visit for younger children probably up to 12, not many big rides. Perfect for toddlers to teens. Prices are great. Fast past wristbands available but tbh not needed as queues weren't long. Tree top trail was excellent and included in price. Lots of places for picnics and places to buy food too. Parks dotted around for kids to play on, angry birds park is awesome my kids loved it!
This theme park has radically changed since its roots. It is now more of a kids theme park with simple child friendly rides. We knew this before visiting and came especially for our little one. There are many rides however queues were taking a long time. Some rides had 3 carts to take 3 families but only 1 cart was moving at a time making the queue time 3x as long. Other than that a good day out
Slight shame they are clearly aiming for the younger age and can't compete with the likes of Alton Towers. The Ultimate Roller-coaster and what used to be the Rat/Raptor Ride haven't been replaced with anything similar. The most roller-coaster there is is The Ladybird Roller-coaster which has been there for as long as I was a child. If your ake the view of my children though they had a lovely day out with all the rides being appropriate for them. I would recommend bringing drinks and food as the *fish and chips* family price was shocking for what it was. As long as you come prepared it will be a great day out in the sunshine
A good day out for the price if you have young kids. Most of the good rides are gone, other than Eagles Claw and the pirate ship. The whole place has a more family-friendly focus, with a poor attempt at a nature trail. Kids 10 and below will really enjoy it. Went with a group of 12 year old girls, who still really enjoyed it, although they just kept going on the same rides time and time again. Wasn't too busy on Easter Monday, with only minimal queuing for the rides.
Second visit and had a great time. Took my 2 1/2 year old and plenty to go on. We didn't stop from 10.30am till 4pm. There's a few rides he can't go on due to height restrictions but that didn't matter as there is enough. Great day out will be going again.
We came here with our 6 year old on a Wednesday during half term which we booked in advance. We arrived around 9.40 to an empty car park and managed to park right at the front! There is a little toilet block next to to entrance which was handy to freshen up beforehand. We were right at the front at the queue and they actually let us in early at 10.15 rather than 10.30. Great place the little ones, not much for the bigger kids or adults anymore but we knew that and the purpose was a fab day out for a 6 year little boy which we achieved! The only niggle I have was the price of the buffet and the offering ! I have posted a picture of the receipt and the three pizzas on offer which were stone cold! Would not recommend the buffet restaurant, paid over £30 for a few slices of cold pizza !!! Everything else was fantastic and all the staff were friendly. We only live just over an hour away so I would return
We were hesitant to book after seeing the reviews, but took a chance with it being on our route home from holiday. We had a great time. We found that the park was more suited to younger kids, which I'm guessing contributed to the lower reviews, but having a 5 & 9 year old they had an absolute blast! It was mid heatwave but they had ample amount of shaded areas, ice cream vans, small stores with cool drinks, etc. They sell sun cream too, which was a life saver, as we didn't have to walk all the way back to the car! I was worried upon entering the park seeing the crazy golf priced at £10, thinking everything was free with the family pass but aside from golf, arcade games and stalls, everything else was included with our pass. In the reception area you're offered a band for the children's wrists with their height to determine which rides they can go on, or a leaflet listing them all. It come in extremely handy, meaning we could avoid all the ones the kids would be disappointed with missing out on! I loved the aspect of the kids running ahead and joining the queue without having to wait on us to pay for the ride. A great day was had by all! The Tree-Top Trials was immense!!
We had a lovely day here, after a hiccup with our on line booking. I use a mobility scooter and found it easy to get around. Good choice of food, even vegan for my family. Grandson loved it.
First time visiting here in a few decades. Went with my niece 7 and nephew 9. It's changed a lot since I last went with thrill rides replaced with many sedate rides aimed squarely at kids. Although I think older kids teens and above might find few rides to thrill them.
