Travis Perkins provided me with excellent service, notably Pete Brown and team on sourcing and delivering aggregates other merchants could not supply. Delivery driver did an excellent job delivering to a tough site. Thank you all round.
Typical travis.. Unless you are a big player you are going to get overcharged way more than any normal builders merchants.. They all ask more from non regulars but travis excel at this to the point where its just plain rude... Only go if its your only option..
2 stars as this is all they deserve. Sloooooow service and massive mistake picked up by my manager. Otherwise would have been overcharged by a lottttttt.....
Travis Perkins fence panels appear to be able to stand up to the high winds in Shaftesbury........The process of buying them can be excruciating , There is often only one till open and a long queue to be served. Meanwhile numerous members of staff walk through behind the counter and stare at the prospective customers but make no attempt to open another till and take our money or indeed think that maybe if we serve these people they might come back again. I have never had a problem with the yard staff but then again we usually use Sydenhams in Gillingham despite the fact that the company i work for is only a mile from Travis Perkins.
You got to find what you want then load it your self as the staff are having a chat with each other or on their mobiles not good. I use travis a lot in the week
The Shaftesbury branch is 5 minutes drive from me and I have a discount card and I still choose Sydenhams in Gillingham over these clowns. Customer service seems to rank lowest on their priorities so I avoid at all costs.
Travis Perkins have been excellent in supplying materials over the past few months. Friendly staff, locals should support places like this.
Travis Perkins is the one to use in Shaftesbury ! The staff are always happy to help and even help you to load up to. Not like other Travis Perkins.
Charged me £8.50PM for c16, you can get the same at wickes for £3.50pm.
Good variety of supplies, but as builders merchants go a bit on the pricey side.
