Perfect place to stay for a weekend visiting family in the area. Free parking, well equipped rooms and very comfy beds. A short walk to the retail park where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Receptionist was great, very friendly and helpful and that’s where the positives stop unfortunately.nThe room was dirty, layers of dust on the outer edges of the carpet. The walls had coffee stains/splashes all over them. The kettle had limescale around the rim/inside. The curtains were full of dust.nThe bathroom was actually clean but dated and a little tired. In the bedroom the walls had some patches of missing paint.nValue wise you get what you pay for. But I would expect higher level of cleanliness for any price tbh and from a well known company like travelodge.
Exceptional - largely due to the service I received when I arrived. Jayne I think welcomed me warmly, listened actively and built rapport effortlessly.nRoom was exactly as expected, clean, good size, water pressure was a touch low, but not a real issue. Location is convenient.
Very grubby. There was sticky pink goo all over the bathroom tap, mould and greasy handprints on the windows, stains on the towels, cobwebs and thick dust on the curtains and walls, and general muck smeared across the desk. The bed was fine and the shower was hot.
Recently stayed for 2 weeks, there was no body wash and hand wash in the dispenser. Had to complain about it, constantly at the reception. Very bad room service. The rooms are full of cob webs, spiders in the room and insects.nnReceptionists too are extremely rude. The worst service ever. Would never stay or recommend a travelodge.
