This place is so so bad ! Do not ever go herenWe had a room booked for 2 for one night. Never againnFirst off all we walked in our room and it stank like cigarettes, the bed was awful so uncomfortable literally could feel the wood through the mattress.nSecondly we was approached by a “security guard” who told us he didn’t work there. Very strangenThen we left to get some food as they apparently didn’t serve any food here but left a menu in our room.nLastly when we got back the “security guard” basically ran down the stairs trying to put his uniform on to watch us walk back up to our roomnAbsolutely terrible experience and would not recommend to anyone !
Absolutely awful WiFi. They won't tell you this before you arrive, so if you require WiFi for any reason, I would definitely avoid. I did complain about it, as it was essential for work that I had to do, but the manager wasn't interested.nIn addition, it's next to a noisy night club, with music and loud talking through the night. We gave up trying to sleep at 1.30am and left. An absolutely waste of money and loss of a night's sleep.
Rooms clean and tidy, no issues. Able to take the dog which was why it was chosen .nMain areas look very tired eg holes in centre stair carpet which was in need of replacementnStaff were pleasant and helpful.nWe stayed 5 people 2 nights with breakfast booked both days. Nothing was set up this morning no cereals yogurt juice etc available. Had to go and find someone. Lots of details missing.nSeemed expensive for what it was tbh.
The hotel as a whole has clearly seen better days, the corridors and staircases are very down at heel and shabby. The room made up for that, it had obviously been recently renovated with a huge, freestanding bath in the room and a large walk in shower in the bathroom. The windows are very old and unfortunately that means they don’t close properly so the noise from the street is very intrusive. We stayed in a Friday night and there was a lot of drunken shouting, singing and fighting in the street below and we could hear everything! The breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast and the staff were friendly. The car park is a very tight squeeze and quite difficult to find how to get to it
Hi Aiden here stayed here during December 11th to 13th for buisness and had an amazing stay will come again and recommend to everyone. Food was delish and rooms were spotless every person here was super sweet and kind. I chose a deluxe double bed as my first room for the first night, and kindly the servers moved my stuff into my deluxe double bed with bath for me while I was out for work. Can’t stress enough how good my stay was I'm a very picky person and I was more than satisfied. Seen the 3star and below reviews and honestly think the hotel has turned themselves around definitely on track to become a fully booked hotel for weeks on end so defo try before you miss out !!!!!!
